MyProtein - Protein Puffs

I was given a chance to try this new product when my name was one of the three Muscletalk members chosen to receive some samples.

BBQ Protein Puffs are crispy barbeque flavoured protein balls made from soy protein isolate. These are light protein snacks which and can be put in your bag to provide a fantastic high protein snack when on the go or looking to increase daily protein intake. The flavour is i think spot on as it's tangy with not to much sweetness i would happily give it 9/10 for flavour.

Each bag contains a 30g serving with the following macros:

Energy (kJ/kcal): 529/126
Fat: 3.5g
of which saturates: 0.3g
Carbohydrates: 8.4g
of which sugars: 3.3g
Protein: 15.0g
Salt: 1.0g

Each bag of 30g works out at a cost of £1.29 per bag which is quite expensive, but i look on as the eqivilent of a bag of crisps but with a lot healthier macro breakdown and a lot less salt and fat, i don't know how much a bag of crisps costs these days as it has been years since i purchased any crisps. MP also currently have a 30% discount code on a box of 10 x 30g bags so current costs is around £0.91per 30g bag which i think is reasonable if you fancy a high protein snack other than a flapjack or protein bar of some kind.

Thank you MP for allowing me to sample this new product, i will certainly order some of these given the current 30% discount code as i am bit tired of having a protein flapjack for as nack with my tea/coffee. As i said earlier the flavour is spot on for me.

I can't say they filled me up as i had mine as part of a meal,if i had them on their own as a snack it might be different but i wouldn't have thought so as a packet of crisps never filled me up to any extent.

Protein is a good bit more filling than carbs though so I'd hope they'd be a bit more satiating than regular crisps.

Look forward to trying mine if they ever arrive lol.

hard to say mate  but seemed like eating a pack of popcorn even though there not like popcorn , there like puffy crispy things lol thats the only way to describe them. You could eat a few bags no problem. 15g of protein per bag is decent though

They are on offer quite a bit. £12.99 is a bit firce IMHO if you can get them on offer id go for them as they have a very nice BBQ taste.
