*****Myprotein fresh meat review*******

The first thing that struck me was the quality of the packaging, the box was also very strong in construction. Normally the postage and packaging is £2.99 which when compared to other online meat retailers I have used is cheap and good value for money.

When I opened the box I saw the special wool lining and the ice packs, it was lovely, cold and smelt fresh. The meat was vacuumed packed and labeled really clearly.

I had ordered some lean steak mince, rump steak, sirloin steaks, fillet steak, hatche steak and a couple of fillet tails. Over the course of the rest of the day I cooked the meat up, before adding it to a meal (some for the following day) I cut a piece off and tasted it.
Normally I buy meat from my local Co Op, local butchers or other online meat retailers (protein food direct and musclefood).

Firstly I cooked the lean steak mince, there was hardly any fat that came of it when I was cooking it. It was very tender and had lovely full flavour. I was very impressed with its texture and easily matched any other steak mince I have tried before.

Next I cooked the rump, sirloin and fillet steak. The fillet steak really stood out for me, it was very juicy and melted in my mouth. This had to be one of the best fillets I had eaten in a long time. The rump and the sirloin were also of a high standard. The flavour and the texture was superb on my pallet and each bite was pleasure. I kept on going back for more and ended up eating far to much!

Overall I was really impressed and I would consider making an order out of my own money. The fillet steak and the lean steak mince stood out for me the most, I can't recommend these enough. The quality of the meat was easily apparent and the taste was to a high standard. I really enjoyed trying the meat selection and it exceeded my expectations.

After all this red meat I need to have a nap now!!

    Good review mate.

I did try some beef cubes a few weeks ago when they was on offer. They were very nice too.
