Myprotein milk protein smooth, pre bed

Been having the strawberry cream flavour for a week now.

Is there anyway to make this mix better. So far I use a mix of milk and water, 200ml of each. After shaking I get 100ml of liquid and 500ml of foam. It's shocking.

Also it's pretty powdery any alternatives that aren't as chalky.

    shake it less, get a spoon in there and eat it like a mousse :)

    I've got exactly the same product and I get a bit of foam. As above, just don't shake it so much.

    put it in a pint glass and mix with a fork rather than shaking it

    Current training: 6-day split
    Current cycle: Test E @ 500mg per week

    Oh yeah SR you sir rock.

    150ml water in a shaker stir in 30g with a fork followed by another 30g so it goes like a really thick paste. Quite difficult to stir like this. Then added 300ml milk stirred for about 45secs with the fork.

    No lumps, no foam, much better.

    Do all casein based drinks have a chalky texture to them?

    Thanks for this, it was starting to piss me off, I thought you needed to shake it well so there was no lumps...

    I was very surprised how well it mixed into a paste. I thought there would be lumps galore but there wasn't any.

    Much, much better.

    Yes. If a casein based product wasn't chalky we would certainly question how much casein is in the product. Casein by nature is chalky. Adding more water will help.

    Not sure the problem.
     
    I either use very little water and shaker and then spoon it like a mousse or use add a little whey and a shaker - this gives a blend of protein and also the whey prevents the clogging.

    Don't fancy eating it!

    I'm happy with it now.

    Will be trying a couple of other flavours now.
