N95 Owners

Hi guys

Need some help transfering music from my PC to the phone. I'm totally stuck with it. Ive read through the instructions and everything and still none the wiser.

The phone came with the nokia nseries pcsuite dvd, but as i don't have a dvd/cd drive, i downloaded the latest version from nokia. thats all seeming fine, but i just can't connect the two and what it says in the book, isn't even the same half of the time, as whats like on the phone!

if anybody would be willing to help us out, that would be ace

thanks a lot

Do you have a nokia series pc suite logo on your screen? If so connect your phone and click onto that. This took me ages because you have to load the cd's on then make them compatable to go into your phone.

You can download the PC suite from Nokia's website , then it all should be straightforward (or as straightforward as it gets with Nokia / Windows ! )

( ....Of course with the Mac / iPhone combination , you simply plug it in to charge and it syncs email accountss , music , photos, videos , bookmarks for the internet without having to press a button , but thats another story ....... )

lol, when you text press and hold the star button and it opens the symbol selection then scroll down or accross and it will bring up smiley faces.

    What he said ^^^^^^^

    OR

You can send them via bluetooth which obviously doesn't require a cable connection.

ah I see. I now have a removable "G" drive

it comes through a mess though and you have to search through endless amounts of files, opening this and that, to get to the actual music folder

    I'll have a play

too be honest mate- i'll probably never use half the stuff on it, played about with the gps etc, love the camera, really good quality and files are easy to get too, even if there is alot of them, media players really good, cant fault that, huge storage capacity which is the main reason I bought it, that and im a huge nokia fan! still cant figure out how to get smileys up on text though!

glad your getting on with it mate. i haven't found the camera that great tbh. maybe I just havent figured out how to use it properly!

right, Ive sussed out how to put music and stuff on the phone, but now I need to convert a wmp playlist into a file folder to copy over.

does anyone know how to do that?

theres only around 300 songs, but my flash disk drive is saying its only 971 MB??! how the hell does that work out? isn't there supposed to be 8GB? or would I have to do it bit by bit?
