Solid work mate. SLDLs don't sound pleasant though!
 
Have I missed something? I know you often seem to have bad sleep but do you know the cause of it? I would have thought being on such low calories you'd sleep like a log?


My sleep is always really poor in prep however this time around with all the supplementation I am taking to relax and help with sleep I am getting to sleep very quickly but wake up early. I have started going to bed at 9.30pm now and still falling straight to sleep. I'd rather it be this way around than tossing and turning, getting frustrated at not being able to get to sleep.

Check in day today and it’s been another great weight drop from yesterday with 0.7kg off. This puts me just 0.3kg above my pre depletion weight from last time with 11 days until depletion starts. 

Yesterday was very strange as I didn’t feel like **** at any point during the day. I almost thought something must have gone wrong as I never go a day without a major crash or down spell. I can’t grumble though as it makes prep far more bearable as the hunger etc is really not an issue for me.

Today is a rest day from weights, so just cardio and posing this morning, then I have my weekly deep tissue massage. I can’t wait for that as my legs are battered at the moment which I suspect is just down to them being so depleted and weak.

Sleep was ok last night, I first woke at 2am and struggled to get back to sleep but I do feel like I’ve had good sleep. Not groggy at all and I was up doing client plans at 5am this morning.

It’ll be interesting to see what Jordan has planned for me for this last full week. I have dropped over 16lb in the last week from my refeed weight and over 7lb from my last check in weight. I feel like I may just have clawed it back and this will give me the mental strength to attack this final week whatever is thrown at me.

I enjoyed my pull session yesterday and really focused on the contraction of every movement. Weight moved wasn’t bad and I didn’t feel drained or beat up afterwards. I subbed rack pulls for a variation on the leverage deadlift as someone was in the rack. I’ve never done them before, so had nothing to base it on but did a decent weight.
