Nail bending J5? Mobster? Others help!

I want to start nail bending but i dont know what nails to buy. I was told to go for 3.5" 16d nails but this is on an american site so i went to b&q and found them all to be metric. i think i wil need the nails to be longer than 4" any way but dont have a clue what to buy to start with. What about short lenghts of steel?

On a side not i tore a 304 page stafford phone book in half twice tonight but failed on an Argos catalogue lol.

Mrs Dogg is under instructions to get me lots of argos/index catalogues for training tools now

Off topic, but has any one here ever ripped a deck of cards in two. I would be awesome to do that when someone says: "go on, show us your best card trick". I also imagine it would be incredibly difficult.

Thanx for the advice J5 i really appriciate it. I will get some tomorrow and give it a go. I have slightly bent the 6" x 6mm but i mean sligthly you have to roll it to see it :)

I will heed your saftey advice as i dont want a set back as training is going well lately.

Is the bar cheap? I take it that it is otherwise we wouldnt bend it.

Anyone know how much a pack of cards is? Just curious i couldnt do it anyway (yet!!!)

Also J5 can you tear a phone book with ease? Have you tried a catalogue? Ah and training frequency? Is this something i can do whenever i have a few spare mins and fancy trying or should it be limited?

Ok B+q only had 6mm in they had 5mm threaded though is this the same as 5mm? I imagine it is weaker. I bought the 6mm it was 1.43£ a length (1m) Just tried an 8" length it bent but not far better than the 6" though. i will check do it all for 5mm tomoz
