Pretty sure you egged me on at the time lol. It's always funny to look back and see how stupid you've been.  I can even hear the overly macho thoughts in my head and see why I thought it would be good.  How wrong I was.

Band Rows -- X rows

Band Triceps Overhead Extensions

Nordic Curls --Hip Extension

x 6 reps --Adding in a bit more knee flexion now.  They'll never be as good as a full GHR on a proper bit of kit but at least both hamstring functions are being hit now.

A1 Dead Press
bar x 10 reps
60kg x 5 reps
70kg x 5 reps

A2 1xDB Row
45kg x 10 reps (Each Side)
45kg x 10 reps (Each Side)
45kg x 10 reps (Each Side)

A3 Bulgarian Spit Squats --Offset, working side
10kg x 10 reps (Each Side)
10kg x 10 reps (Each Side)
10kg x 10 reps (Each Side) --The offset weight put a torque on my hip (in a good way) and made some deep muscles there burn like made.  I feel like this will be good for overall stability.  Can't even imagine what it would have been like if I'd gone with the contralateral side.

A4 Band Planks
~5 Seconds  (Each Side) -- I opted for a one arm version to give a bit of cross body torque.  Wow did this increase the difficulty.  Bands planks are hard enough as the shifting unstable nature adds an extra challenge but one arm was insane.  Need to build these up.
~20 Seconds
~20 Seconds --Abs destroyed after the first set.

Dead Press
80kg x 3 reps
90kg x 5 reps --Left side lagging behind.  I felt the reason why today, I lost core stability and couldn't generate force on the left side.   My right foot even starts to lift on the last rep. Increasing core strength should yield some nice results.
80kg x 5 reps
80kg x 5 reps
80kg x 5 reps
80kg x 5 reps --Got my brace on tight for these 80kg sets and they shot up.  Goes to show what a nice braced core can do.

Do you not think you’re losing core stability because you are doing your main heavy work so late in the workout?

Your DB Rows, Split squats and planks will massively hit core. Get up to your top end weight as soon as poss!

I agree, however, I've learned over time that if I switch things back to a more traditional style then I just won't do the work.  That stuff will get dropped for one reason or another.  Training around a weakness so to speak.

I've already started but I plan to add in more rollouts (currently once a week) for anterior core strength.  However, I feel it's the rotational and contralateral areas that need the most attention. Bandy twisty things should help the rotational side (early days) but I could go sport specific and add rotational strikes.  Contralateral, I will offset some lifts, Bulgarian split squats for example.  Also suitcase carries sound like a good idea.

None of this will be particularly special or dedicated, more like little and often.  A core variation will form part of every giant set.  There will be a dip in performance initially until I get used to the workload (which will take something like 8 weeks).

There are so so many options (which is good) as long as I consistently do something I will see improvement.

Certainly interesting.  Easy pull but staying upright with no lean is a bit of a trick.  I had intended to do some suitcase carries with a 40kg KB but the bar was there and loaded so it was rude not too.

Thanks mate, while these were a PB, they are a few KG under a true max.  Feel like I could do ~220kg like this.

Well you bloody would.  The plan is to hit 200 as minimum next time.  I'm almost at my regular deadlifting from the floor, the bodes very well indeed. Things usually start to go south around 250 so that's the real test.  Starting to get to that sort of number as a predicted max now.

You have far more deadlift potential than you give yourself credit for bud!

I've seen them is various guises for years.  Some people use straps god super heavy and use a rack to limit rom.  Others do carries with lighter weight aiming to stay tall.  Either way your obliques end of fried.

Cheers bud.  Between you and Ox I'm hearing a lot of "muscle up buttercup", put some weight on the bar, those are warm ups. I've been progressively adding 5kg each session, maybe I should up to 10kg for a few weeks.
