Bench press didn't go so well the other day so I chalked it up to experience and I'll re-evaluate next week.

160kg x 5 reps --There's a few reps left in the tank but I decided to stop loading up at this point.  I want movement quality not just moving the weight.
145kg x 5 reps

145kg x 5 reps --All very nice smooth reps.  Happy with these, I want to keep this form as I load up the bar over the coming weeks. 
 
I have a KM bootcamp over the weekend so I'll likely be training again on Tuesday.

Cheers mate, you've given me something to thing about there, I hadn't really given speed much of a thought.  It's a nice variable to monitor, thanks buddy.
 
Do you know what kit you're getting?  I'm like a kid in a sweet shop when it comes to picking new kit.

Just some basic stuff, a rack second hand probably. The only thing I will get new is a barbell and some bands as I am going to rob your idea and use them for pushdowns.

Its just the gym is costing me a fortune and dosnt always suit my routine.

Sounds good.  Only my bands, 2 plates, SSB, trap bar and yoke are new, everything else is ebay or homemade.  Bands are awesome, they can sub in for so much stuff and they are so easy to use.  I actually prefer band rows (the ones I call x band rows) to the regular kind.  You can get a ton of volume in very quickly and best yet I find them to very friendly on my joints.
 
It's more than just the cost for me, it's being able to train any time I like. It's being right there is my family needs me (more of an issue when there were babies in the house).  It's also time; I'd have to drive to my closest gym AND pay for parking.  A 1 hour session would be 2 hours easy with the drive back and forth.

Cheers mate but it should look easy at this weight. I want these light reps to be damn near perfect and build from there.

Really enjoyed the KM boot camp at the weekend.  Damn hard work and it finished with a 5 minute constant effort drill with multiple attacker with (rubber) knives.  I had to fight almost constantly for that time.  It was awesome.

Push Press
60kg x 8 reps --5 strict, 3 push press
80kg x 5 reps --3 strict, 2 push press
90kg x 3 reps
105kg x 3 reps
95kg x 3 reps
95kg x 3 reps --These were all pretty shoddy.  Technique is awful, very out of practice.  I'm keeping these in for a 3 week block.  I intend to rotate dead press with push press in 3 week cycles and reap the rewards of both (in theory).  Needed a bit of a nudge from Dave (although I'm pretty sure he's unaware he did anything).  Regardless of poor quality these were still heavier then my dead press and so I did manage to achieve the overload I wanted. 
 
Squats
70kg x 5 reps
120kg x 5 reps
160kg x 5 reps
180kg x 2 reps
180kg x 2 reps
180kg x 2 reps  --Not the volume I wanted but all reps felt like they were good quality.  There's still improvements to be made but on the whole, these were good.  My brother has started training with me again so it will take a few weeks before we get ourselves in sync.
 
Shoulders feeling a bit beat up at the mo.  Bashed out some band pull aparts and they seemed to help.

Loads and loads of band pull aparts.  The more I did the better my shoulders felt.

My Bruv needed a lot of my time today as he's injured his back (actually I think it's DOMS) and so needed me to help him out and give him direction.  I had to drop most of what I had planned an just do my deads. 
 
Deficit Deadlift

160kg x 1 rep
200kg x 1 rep
220kg x 5 reps --Maybe a rep (or at most 2) left in the tank.
200kg x 5 reps
200kg x 5 reps
 
 
Smashed out yet more pull aparts.  I'm making up for lost time, I should have been doing these regularly like I used too.  Last year I was doing ~300 reps a day.  Shoulders felt great and I love the upper back pump these give.  Feel like a muppet for dropping them (and with no good reason).

Thanks Dave, I felt stronger this week.  It's still a "new" lift and hits me right where I'm weakest.  Great stuff though, love it which is high praise from the guy who doesn't like deads.

Those are on the list mate.  Not sure when they'll come in but they will.  The aim will be to break the floor and pause as low as possible.  It's gonna be brutal but if I get stronger from the floor I know I can lockout big weights.  With reverse bands I can take more from the floor (in equivalence) than I can without the bands.  This tells me I have more to give, I just need to tap into it.
