Deficits looking strong and smooth as mate. I notice you look down at the start of the lift though, does that not affect your back at all? I find I have to keep my head up throughout to help prevent my upper back from rounding too much.

lol that's my brothers breath.  I made him do some conditioning, he's resting between sets and struggling for air.

Cheers.  I've not noticed that its a issue although my upper back does get sore (in a good way) from even this small deficit.  I sounds a bit arrogant but I don't think this is heavy enough to cause unacceptable rounding. If it caused problems then I would certainly look into thoracic extension exercises and add some more power to the upper back.  A thick and meaty upper back just stinks of strength so rather than avoiding thoracic extension, I embrace it.

Worth a mention, I was born with a bit of a "spinal deformity".  Basically my curvature is over pronounced so what's good for me might not be good for you.  In reality I think it makes little difference  but there we have it.

Band Rows -- X rows
x 25 reps
x 25 reps
x 25 reps

Band Face Pulls
x 25 reps
x 25 reps

Band Triceps Overhead Extensions
x 25 reps
x 25 reps
x 25 reps

A1 Paused Low Incline Bench Press
60kg x 5 reps
80kg x 5 reps
90kg x 5 reps
100kg x 5 reps
80kg x 5 reps
80kg x 5 reps --I had to increase the length of the pause since the unrack was a bit problematic.

A2 Low Band Rows
x 15 reps
x 15 reps
x 15 reps
x 15 reps
x 15 reps --These were actually good despite a small ROM.  They hit my back exactly where I need the tightness for bench press.  Since I struggle with this I think these will help.

I played around with some odds and ends since I need something that will hit my chest.  My shoulders a very dominant in all my pressing.  Unfortunately I didn't find anything that will work.  Maybe dips would be my best bet.

Friday 07th December 2018
Woke up today feeling awful.  I had a flu jab on Wednesday and that tends to knock me out, it will be ok in a day or so.

Band Rows -- X rows
x 25 reps
x 25 reps
x 25 reps

Band Face Pulls
x 25 reps
x 25 reps

Band Triceps Overhead Extensions
x 25 reps
x 25 reps
x 25 reps

EZ Curls
20kg x 15 reps
20kg x 15 reps
20kg x 15 reps
20kg x 15 reps --I chucked these in in random places.  My goal is not to lift heavy (obviously) or mass; these are for elbow health.  Higher rep light weight curls just make my elbows feel good.  In the summer this isn't a problem but as it gets colder I just need more blood going through there.

Bulgarian Split Squat
x 10 reps (Each Leg)
x 10 reps (Each Leg)

Paused Squat
70kg x 5 reps
120kg x 5 reps
160kg x 3 reps
180kg x 3 reps --Damn, I wanted 5.  I didn't fail as such but rather cut the set short as my form was moving away from where I want it to be.  I'd rather do no reps than bad ones.  However, this has told me that once I can hit 5 I will have improved my squat and should be on the road to a new max.
160kg x 5 reps
160kg x 5 reps

Short and sweet today.  I feel I need a low impact weekend, no more bootcamps for a while #OldMan.

--At Lunch
pull aparts

Kneeling Rollouts
x 15 reps
x 12 reps
x 12 reps

i also did about 20 minutes of various kick (front, side, back, round, scissor etc).

Do you work at home then mate? It looks like you train in the morning then follow up with additional training 'at lunch'?

Squats looking solid mate. Personally I never got on with that much buttwink but then my spine is not good.

180kg paused squat is very strong indeed! As Brett says a bit of buttwink but I find that quite common in my own paused squats.

Nah, I work in an office but my work clothes are a polo shirt and jeans. I've got a few bits of kit I keep in an unused storage area. I also have training clothes and shower facilities for those sweaty or larger lunch sessions.

Cheers for the feedback. I'm always trying to tidy up more form. I haven't experienced any issues due to butt wink, do you think it's excessive?

Cheers mate. In an ideal world I wouldn't have any butt wink and it is something I've been working on.

I am far from being a squat master (I no longer do them and my max was only 145kg x5 lol) but yes I would try to reduce it. As you know I have sciatic issues and found that the more I buttwinked the more issues I had. You can reduce by stretching the hams, glutes and hips. Most people have tight hams so that would be my priority.

That said Ox can deadlift 320kg+ with a round back that would actually turn my vertebrae into puddles of goo, so everybody is different.

I know everyone is different, so wasn't saying anything was wrong with it. I was just pointing out that looking down when deadlifting for me makes it difficult to prevent further rounding of the upper back, and I wasn't sure if you were aware that you look down when about to lift.

Your lifts look solid mate, so I know there no real issues.

I hope I didn't come across as a dick since I genuinely value any feedback I can get.  It's my primary reason for posting in forums and recording video's.  I love training in may garage but it does mean I'm not in contact with knowledgeable gym folk.  If anyone gives me any form of feedback I'm all over it.  Half of the time I haven't even thought to question the things people mention.  If nothing else I'm humble that someone has taken the time to try and help me or understand what I'm doing.

Monday 10th December 2018
Feel rubbish today, I had a bad day of eating yesterday and my IBS is punishing me for it.  I'm all bloated and nasty, can't generate any abdominal pressure.  Or I can but not without...consequence.

Band Rows -- X rows
x 25 reps
x 25 reps
x 25 reps

Band Face Pulls
x 25 reps
x 25 reps

Band Triceps Overhead Extensions
x 25 reps
x 25 reps
x 25 reps

Goblet Squat
10kg x 15 reps
10kg x 15 reps --Need more weight and to add a pause at he bottom.  I think this is a nice addition to my squat warm up

Bulgarian Split Squat
x 10 reps (Each Leg)
x 10 reps (Each Leg)

Seldeghamer Swings
x 15 reps (Right)
x 15 reps (Left)
x 15 reps (Right)
x 15 reps (Left)

Half Kneeling Landmine Press
10kg x 15 reps (Each Side)
10kg x 15 reps (Each Side)

Phew, that was a sweaty warm up.  The weight will not be impressive today so I needed to get something done.

A1 Push Press
60kg x 3 reps strict + 2 push press
80kg x 3 reps
100kg x 3 reps --Nope, I'm not continuing with these.  I get pain in the biceps tendon and the form is rubbish.  Also I'd like something that actively works the entire range.  I wonder about using some sort of z-press with bands?

A2 Paused Squat
70kg x 5 reps
120kg x 5 reps
160kg x 3 reps
180kg x 2 reps -- Guts warned me not to continue...

A3 1xDB Row
40kg x 10 reps (Each Side)
60kg x 10 reps (Each Side)
60kg x 10 reps (Each Side)

A4 Band Planks
~30 seconds
~30 seconds
~30 seconds

A bit of a nothing day today.  Lets see how deads go tomorrow.
