Natural test booster with blood results - Resveratol 100
Thought I would share some interesting results with you all in relation to an OTC test booster that appears to work.
The product is called Wicked Resveratol 100. I am not affiliated with this company or it’s products. In fact I don’t think it is even sold outside Australia lol but wanted to post online for Google’s sake. Here's a link anyhow.
I wanted to test it’s effectiveness in raising test levels naturally, in preparation for PCT on an Ostarine run. I tested effectiveness by having a blood test before commencing and another blood test on day 21 of the trial to compare the results.
I took the recommended dosage of 8ml daily (4mls morning and night) for the first week or so. After that I decided to up to 10ml daily for the remainder of the bottle.
Within the first week I noticed an increase in libido and most sexual functions. I also felt I had a little more energy and required less of a ‘boost’ to get my head into training. I did not however notice any effect on training or strength.
I read from other reviews those that did blood tests saw an increase in test into the upper range of normal. Certainly not steroid results but a possible candidate for my application. I expected much the same results in my own blood tests. Here’s what I got:
FSH 7 8
LH 5 6
Oestradiol 119 69
Test 20.1 24.1 (Max 27.9)
SHBG 29 33
Free Andro 69 73
Free Test 471.6 560.2 (Max 571)
A few other levels were also different. Cholesterol went up a touch, however I think this is more to do with my diet and added BF. AST and ALT values also went up for liver function, but I have since learnt heavy training can cause this. All other levels remained basically the same.
In summary I believe the evidence is clear. The product does raise test levels, in this case by 18%. Is it enough to affect training or generate any worthwhile gains? Probably not. It might be a good option for someone with low test but fails suitability for test-replacement therapy. It would also be an option for someone with low test wanting to bring it back up after being mildly suppressed, for example after an Ostarine cycle. It is worth noting that oestradiol also went down, but I am not sure why.
DAA has also been proven as one of the natural test boosters out there, and is much cheaper. However it is known to increase oestradiol and this may have negative sides in some individuals. TBH I would probably go with DAA and combine it with an E reducing compound like 6 Bromo.
Either way this was an interesting experiment for me and I thought I would share with you all.
