Need some tips!

Hey

Right, I'm not currently a member at any gym so i train at home. iv not got a bench just yet but have a decent set of weights. The bench should arrive next week at some point. I only recently started training my legs as it's about time I did! However, I'm wanting to do squats like I did today... I loaded the bar with 50kg and managed to get it off the floor, over my head and resting behind my neck... Once i'd squated it was really difficult for me to life that weight from behind my head, all the way back over! I don't shoulder press anywhere near 50gk yet. Apart from a rack, is there anything else anyone would know of that I could perhaps use to make this a little easier? or some sort of technique perhaps? Know one to spot me either unfortunately!

Thanks

You could do a makeshift squat rack - get a bunch of milk boxes stacked up, and rest the bar on there.

I can't really think of anything else other then a rack

do a search on hack squat - problem solved

you may try your technique with front squat which also may be easier

ultimatly the long term solution is to join a gym or make a squat rack

Thanks for the input guys! By front squat do you mean holding the bar at the top of my chest? Will give that a go on the next leg day!

    thanks again
