Need ways of making tuna taste nice.

Just bought a couple of big cans of the stuff.

Tried it in pasta which was OK but was wondering if any of you guys n gals knew any (fairly easy) ways of making it taste nicer. Not a huge fan of the taste meself.

Can anyone help?

Personally, i heat mine up in a pot, throw in some ragu light bolognese sauce, plus a few herbs and it tastes lovely. What's even better is to add some onions and leaks to this mix, and also a dollop of cottage cheese. May not look particualrly appetising, but it tastes aboslutely gorgeous!

Personally I can't stand the taste of tuna so what I do is.....

Cook sume super noodles (any flavour doesn't matter)
    Add the tuna
    Then you can either
Stir in some cottage cheese now and serve as a meal

    or

Spoon the Tuna and super noodles on to some whole meal bread (pre toasted)
Grate with low fat cheese then cook under a grill for a minute

    Will hide any tuna taste

Linked to the tuna burger thread last week, I have started adding Dijon mustard to my tuna. I like tuna anyway, but this just seems to make it nicer, especially when you mix in some cottage cheese and black pepper.

    Tuna shake? No.

    Tuna Gazpacho? Si!

    It's all about semantics.

    4 large tomatoes, coarsely chopped
    1 large onion, coursely chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, chopped
    2 cups tomato juice
    1½ tablespoons good olive oil
    2 teaspoons paprika
    1 teaspoon black pepper
    Hot pepper sauce to taste
    ½ cup white-wine vinegar
    ½ cup dry Vermouth (Italian)
    1 teaspoon salt
    ½ teaspoon ground cumin
    2 dashes Worcestershire sauce.

    Liquidise. Chill. Scarf.

i use cooking sauces. curry, sweet n sour etc, they are cheap and low fat, carb etc. you only need a couple of tablespoons. the homepride ones have no additives, fillers etc. if you are bothered about such things

    tin of tuna

    onion diced finely
    crushed crackers
    lots of herb

all mix together and slap in the george forman grill, or in a pan and there you have nice tina burgers.

2 slices of toast. Spread lots of ketchup on each slice. Grate cheddar chesse on both slices and sprinkle tuna on top. Put it under the grill till chesse is melted.

Ive sickened myself of the stuff, but when i eat it i always mix in a tin of sweetcorn, peas, chopped onions and tomatoes, then add whatever sauce you like ie mustard, salad cream or any other dressin. Or you could just empty a tin out have a pint of milk and just take big mouthfuls with milk to help you eat it,gone in no time.
