Never seen anything like it!!!!

Seeing as how this section of the forum is for correct training i just had to post what i was witness to at the gym on sunday. I was doing abs and noticed 2 guys (clearly more concerned about how they looked and how far up they could roll their sleeves, than training properly) doing the strangest workout i had ever seen, i'm not one to knock beginners and try to offer advice wheneve ri can but these guys just amused me, they had a journal (good thing), a pen (essential to write up there lifts in the journal)...and worked their way through some bizarre routine..which culminated in the strangest bicep excercise i have ever seen...they had a bar attached to the cable, and were doing bicep curls...(or their version..) ...every time i looked up from my set i would see one struggling just holding the bar fully flexed ..and just figured they must be doing mediated sets stopping at peak and dropping to mid flex point....then suddenly i'd look again and the other guy would be in the middle of his set.....perplexed and curious i watched them....one would do his set of reps then hold the bar at full peak contraction WHILST the other would put his hands on the bar and then jump intot he positon of the other.....the othe rletting go of the bar and 'resting'..it was the funniest thing i have ever seen at the gym....i just cant see how anyone could possibly think this dangerous and akward axercise would be of any benefit....over 'normal' bicep exercises.....still has me chuckling now....

    Yeah, there's alot of mad bodybuilders around who think the more unusual the exercise the more it will benefit them. It's a good job us smart bodybuilders know that the same old boring compound exercises with the same old boring simple isolation exercises pack on the mass!

    LOL too right m8, plus i forgot to mention the crossed over hands triceps pushdowns they were doing later on!!!Classic stuff!!!
