New PB on Squat ...:)

Its not a huge number, but I managed a 455 lb single to parallel.
This is 25 lbs over my previous best from last fall. I'm getting there.

Well done! What equipment did you use? Not that it matters I'm just curious.

I use a Titan suit. Straps down except on single attempts. I backed out with my coaches weight of 525 without suit or belt
and HOLY SH!T!!!!! Felt like a truck on my back!!!!![:0]

Good lift, i got two reps with 200kg (about 449) before swapping to front squats last week.

My new goal is to get 180kg front squat by x mas (managed 120x6 last week but it was the first time i have ever done them)

Good effort tbow, what weight have you got your sigts on now? 250kg????

bigmac your back squat should go up afer box squats, because back squats hits your legs at slightly different angles I find I need to have a good session as a warm up with back squats then hit them hard the week after and go and break some PB's.

Short term goal for me would be 500 lbs. I'm only about 20 months intopowerlifting and my tendons, etc are not at full potential for a couple of years...or so I've been told.

Long term I would like to see 600/600/400...Squat/Dead/Bench
with bodyweight staying under 242 lbs.
