Wide Grip Chins 3x8
Bent Over Rows 3x8

Friday:

SLDL 3x8
Standing Calf Raise 3x12

    Wide Grip Chins 3x8
    Bent Over Rows 3x8

    Wednesday :
    Dips 3x8
    Weighted Pushups 3x8

How is (upper, lower, upper) superior to (pull, push, legs)?

I was actually thinking about that.
What are the pros and cons for weighted pushups and bench press?
The way I look at it, it's basically the same mouvement, just a different gravity type.

This is definitely not the way to go. After only 48 hours rest, your lower back will not be ready for heavy squats and SLDLs. The best organization is Monday - Pull, Wednesday - Push, and Friday - Legs.

Agreed... Or you can do Legs, Push, Pull... Both are great. I actually think doing legs at the end of the week would be more beneficial but I can't have sore legs over the weekend. But definatly put push between the 2. I doubt you'll be able to deadlift alot if your still sore from squats and vice versa.

Also... I like bench more then weighted push ups. Your right they are generally the same motion... But when you get really heavy I just don't see why anyone would pick those over bench. What happens when it's time to add 200lbs of weight? The way I figure it is you might as well just do bench...

OK fair enough lets not split hairs, if you feel thats the best way then he'd still be better of doing Push,Legs,Back thus splitting the upper body

Ya... If my bi's are sore and back though it doesn't seem to effect my bench/shoulder press very much at all...
I think Push, Pull, Legs would be better then Push, Legs, Pull because how can you expect to do heavy deadlifts when your legs, ass and lower back feel like ****. I suppose you could say the same about squats the following day... But I would rather do it this way personally. I still stand by Pull, Push, Legs and Legs, Push, Pull being the best.
