New Workout

Any comments would be appreciated

Plan is 1 on 2 off

Session 1

Bench Press - 3 x 5
Front Squats - 3 x 8
Barbell Row - 3 x 5
Barbell Curls - 3 x 8

Session 2

Deadlift - 3 x 3
Dips - 3 x 12
DB Press - 3 x 8

Session 3

Incline Press - 3 x 8
Squat - 3 x 5
Cable Row - 3 x 8
CGBP - 3 x 5

Session 4

Military Press 3 x 5
Chins 3 x Max
Power Clean 3 x 3

Looking to increase size and strength and improve pressing.

    Hi mate

    I like it, something along the lines of what I would do.

    Nice simple compound moves in the main

    the only problem i can see is it only has one vertical pull and three horizontal,drop the cable row and add a pulldown.
    also why are you doing two of,why not one on one of,48hrs is plenty to recover unless you take longer.

    Noted, but would it really matter - I dont really buy into the different exercises hit different aspect of the muscle theory - if i have chins, deadlift and rows then i think everything will be hit with them.

    also why are you doing two of,why not one on one of,48hrs is plenty to recover unless you take longer.


    Maybe - but idea behind the one on two off is due to family and work commitments and also since ive gotten older and with a toddler in the house I do get ill more often

    i dont but back is different,you have upper/lower/middle/lats/rhumboids/traps,etc and yes you do have all covered,just tried to even it out more.

    and your commitments should come first agreed.

    I know whilst it would be great to just train, eat and sleep, we all need to pay the bills, feed the kids and make sure you have enough money for the mrs to hit the shops
