New diet plan, looking for critics????

Started a new diet about 4 weeks ago and i have also been teetotal for 7 weeks now.

Im' 6'1, weight 77.5kgs with about 17-18% bodyfat. When i started i weighed 79.5 and had about 22% bodyfat.
Trying to cut down and reveal my abs i do 40-50 mins cardio twice a week and i also train circuts twice a week, each session lasting about an hour. Seems to be working pretty well.


Breakfast 0800

80gs Bran flakes with sultanas
1 Bit of wholemeal toast with honey
1 cup of green tea (taste like sh*t at first, but i really like it now)
1 banna

Mid-morning snack 1030

2 apples and banna

Lunch 1300

1 can of baked beans mixed in with 130g can of tuna.
1 cup of green tea

mid after noon 1530

2 rice cakes and protein shake
sometimes handful of raisins
Activia yogurt peach

Dinner 1800

1 large turkey (150g) breast with mixed vegtables


Last meal. 2030

1 large turkey (150g) breast with mixed vegtables
1 yogurt muller light
2 rice cakes


plus 2-3ltrs of water a day

    Okay mate you seem to have progressed well, loosing that weight, well done.

    Now the diet is a little bit lacking,

    8.00am: protein needed (eggs etc.)

    10.30: get a real bit of food, maybe chicken salad etc.? protein bar?

    13.00: looks okay, but baked beans arent the best choice when cutting,
    replace with salad or pasta,

    15.30: whole food instead of the shake,

    18.00: looks fine

    20.30: fine as well

    When do you train?

    Shut up and squat

    Meal 1 - Has no protein, add egg whites, whey, etc...

    Mid morning snack again has no protein.

    18.00 meal - Is incomplete, either add a small portion of carbs or add some healthy fats here from flax oil, seeds, nuts, natural peanut butter, oily fish, etc...

    What time do you go to bed? ? ?

    Seems quite high on carbs for a cut and not very many healthy fats.

    More ideas here...

    cheers, this is the longest i have gone without drinking since i was about 13 and as you can imagine im only 19 and all my mates are bunch of pissheads. Its definetly been the hardest part.

    meal 1: im finding it really hard to give up breakfast, i forgot to say i have bran flakes with one weetabix, plus the toast is about 15g protein. I'll add a protein shake to my breakfast then wich is about another 20gs.

    I dont really wanty to eat more that about 2 eggs a day as they have got a fair amount of fat in them.

    what about this.

    Breakfast 0800

    prtoein shake with water (20gs protein)

    1 turkey breast with veg. 1 boiled egg.

    1 can of tuna with 100gs of wholemeal pasta.
    1 apple and banna

    mid after noon 1530

    1 turkey breast with veg. 1 boiled egg.
    Activia yogurt peach, 2 rice cakes.


    Dinner 1800

    1 large turkey (150g) breast with small cup of brown rice.
    1 apple

    Last meal. 2030

    Protein shake with water.
    1 yogurt muller light



    I normally train tue, fri :cardio at about 8 before breakfast. wed, sat: circuits before breakfast.

    Still dont like the mid morning snack. Add more healthy fats there from flax oil, seeds, nuts, natural peanut butter, oily fish, etc...

    Generally, the diet is still lacking in EFAs.

    Fat is good for you mate,

    If you wish to reduce this fat, just eat egg whites, IMO, have 3 egg whites one hole egg

    Scramble

    Eat (for brekky)

    Looking a bit better, replace 20.30 shake with cottage cheese/quark and peanut butter (or other fat source)...

    Congratulations on the drinking btw, its hard, but well done!

    no sorry mate i didn't i'll have a gander. yeah i've looked at those seeds before and noticed they contained a sh*t loads of fat but i will check it out and maybe buy a few. pumpkin, lin, flaxseed stuff like that.

    I love cereal, so its gonna be hard getting rid of it , but i will try i like scrambled eggs so i'll start eating that instead.

    im not a big fan of cottage cheese and i hate nuts with a passion, can you think of anything else that maybe i could substitute????

    Ok mate,

    fats from flaxseed, flaxseed oil, range of seeds, nuts, mackrel, etc.etc.

    List goes on

    And FAT IS GOOD

    fat doesnt make you fat...

    You dont have to get rid of cereal -

    Weetabix, oats are fine.

    If you dont like cottage cheese then dont eat it, plenty of alternatives - chicken, turkey, steak, egg whites, etc...

    think is i also take

    multivitamins, cod liver oil, omega 3, liquid garlic, zinc once a day
    and desicated liver twice a day.

    10g of linseed

    1 turkey breast with veg, little bit tomato ketchup.

    1 cup of green tea

    mid after noon 1530

    1 turkey breast with veg, little bit tomato ketchup.
    Activia yogurt peach, 2 rice cakes.



    Dinner 1800

    1 can of tuna with salad or rice, little bit of salad cream.
    1 apple

    Last meal. 2030

    Protein shake with water.
    1 yogurt muller light
    10g of linseed

    what about this then, any better?

    Lunch - Reduce the pasta here, too much.
