New here. Trying to cut, wondering if im eating enough?

I workout in the gym x4 a week, then i run 8KM x2 at the weekends. I weigh currently 65KG and my height is around 5'11 i think. I've began to eat clean the past two weeks, in an attempt to get my body fat down(think its currently at around 14%), and have just been reading various posts/relevant videos to aid me. My daily diet consists of:

Breakfast(10-11) - Porridge and Milk with two sliced bananas, cup of green tea
Post Workout(1-2)- 2 Scoop Impact Whey Shake with water, with either two pieces of fruit or portion of brown rice with brocolli
Dinner(5-6) - 1 Chicken Breast or 1 Steak, with 2 eggs and as much veg as i can get on the plate inc. brocolli, cauliflower, lettuce, carrots and peppers (when eating stir fry), along with green tea.
- i try to drink between 3-4 litres of water per day. My body feels fine the past 2 weeks, and i never be hungry but i was just looking for some advice on whether i am eating enough so that it is sustainable for the long term. Thanks

If I was 5'11 and 65kgs the last thing I'd be looking to do is cut! Just my opinion but I'd be looking to add some muscle, you must be pretty skinny. Doesn't look like enough food or protein.

I am trying to add muscle aswell, those 4 gym days i dedicate each one to a body part and integrate core with 3 of the days. Im not necessarily looking to lose weight, just lower my body fat % so i can have a 6 pack. Any suggestions on what food i could eat? im struggling to add anymore food into that diet as it is, i dont like to eat past 7 at night, thanks for ur reply btw.

I usually eat a handful of raw cashew nuts everyday, i dont really have any knowledge on fats i assumed it would come from other parts of my diet throughout the day. Any suggestions?? Thanks btw

As others have said, that seems low on calories and very low on protein for a muscle building diet.  Difficult to tell without measurements though.

Also, when listing your diet, don't forget to add things like the handful of cashews.

Try to include a decent amount of protein in every meal.  Your breakast is lacking protein (you could add a scoop or two of whey to the porridge).  It also looks more like a PWO meal than a breakfast when cutting.  Maybe remove the bananas and have cashews instead, then have the bananas PWO.

At three meals per day I would be aiming at 40-50g of protein per meal, on top of what was in your PWO shake.  Alternatively have some casein, or any other lean protein before bed.

But, you need to work out the macros of each meal.  A bowl of porridge could be anything...

A six pack at that weight is like a fat bird with big tits!!!

Eat more and put on some muscle then in a year or so diet down to reveal a six pack.  You will have to eat a lot more than you think and more than you can probably handle to start with.

At that height/weight you could gain lean muscle and still lose BF.

Thanks for the advice. I think ill try the approach of adding a scoop of whey with my porridge along with some cashews, and then the bananas post workout like you suggested. I was thinking maybe i could eat wheatbix PWO as they are high in carbs? what do u think?

Would you recommend more supplements to help adding macros? I was looking at protein cookies and they seem to be a good source for Macros. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

The weetabix are a good PWO choice, as are pretty much any cereal as long as it's not a bag of sugar.
Don't rely on supps for your macros (especially not protein cookies, etc, they are emergency foods when on the go), use whole food.  A can of sardines is far superior to any cookie or protein bar unless your trying to drive at the same time!

No problem thanks. Just going to eat a tin of tuna and follow your other advice.
