Add some protein to your snacks and a little carbs pre workout. IMHO. How heavy are you and what's your BF%? Aim for 1.5g of protein per lb of lean body mass.

    I'm 5'9 (no jokes! :P) and 13 Stone - approx 12% BF.

Cheers for the advice, Pre-workout though I have dextrose as the carbs I thought this was ok?

Fair point... could add maybe some peanut butter into the first snack, would make sense.

Thanks for the input :) much appreciated

Ditch the dextrose pre wo, and have some oat cakes or basamati rice

Something like 80g of chicken breast and a handful of mixed nuts or some peanut butter would be good with the snacks.

Thanks for the advice - nice way to up the protein... I'll put this with the snacks - the only reason I didn't is I needed to have as little calories as possible to cut quicker

Nigee: For dinner I do change chicken with salmon to mix it up but becomes costly so substitute this with Omega 3 supplements - for good fats I have nuts and drizzle olive oil in my protein shake in the morning... is this good/bad?

    Good.
    MuscleBuild101but becomes costly
A 213g can of wild red salmon costs only ~£1.30 at Aldi and contains 3 days supply of long-chain omega-3.

No. Oily Fish > Fish Oil Supps
MuscleBuild101- for good fats I have nuts and drizzle olive oil in my protein shake in the morning... is this good/bad?
What's with "good fats"? All undamaged fats are good. Olive oil is a poor source of omega-3 so there's no need to add it to your shakes.

That low? didn't know that... brilliant advice i'll grab some of those

Sorry, when I say Omega 3 supps I meant the fish oil supps with 1000mg per tablet (only take one, was wondering after reading whether 2 would be better?)

No worries - will take the Oil out, saves on calories.

Brilliant advice nigee - straight to the point

That's what I thought you meant. A typical 1000mg fish oil capsule contains 180mg EPA and 120mg DHA. The contents of the capsules may be rancid if they're cheapo ones. See When it comes to fish oil, more is not better
