No glands in chest...(SURGERY) for what reasons now would i use arimidex?

Hi iv been researching stuff around the web about increased estrogen.. i have no glands after gyno surgery and no matter what i run i dont get a hint of itchy nipple... iv read diferent information which is why im asking (to put me back on the right track) .. some info says if you dont bring estrogen down then you wont get as much out of your test dosage.. other info says dont use anit e unless you really need it... my era was pre arimidex where we just didnt bother or maybe some nolva.

i should also add im not really prone to on cycle gyno anyway.. the reason i got it was from being fully shut down for a year and getting fat...

Yes estrogen plays a role so only really needs reigning in if it proves troublesome to individuals. Of course, it's all relative so for users who employ extremely large dosages of highly aromatisable steroids, it's probably a good idea for them to have an element of control over estrogen, even if they tolerate it's effects favourably

I thought it was common to leave a little bit of the gland still in during surgery to prevent a concave nipple?

Regardless.. it's still sensible to not let your estrogen get too high, even if there is no chance of glandular growth under your nipple, as high estrogen in males can cause a whole lot of other side effects.
Decreased sex drive and erections, fat gains, lack of sleep, lack of energy etc
It's better to keep a normal balance of your hormones.
But that said, some people go way over board with the anti e's which have there own side effects too.

I would still use 10mg of tamoxifen like every 5 days of something like that. But I wouldn't use arimidex. Arimidex for me personally even using half a tab every 2 days messes me up. My first 2 cycles I used Arimidex, didnt feel good using it. Tried tamoxifen on my 3rd cycle and all good. It even kept my gyno undo control better than arimidex.

Hi all thanks for any replies for some reason i never got informed to email

In reply to Dajacoco yes your right there i think ... i think they can leave some gland although some also get it all out.. i never went back to the surgeon even for having the stitches removed.. i pulled them out.. so i dont no
alls i no is i am none responsive to estrogen in my nipples... before that i would get a feeling like they were made of plastic... or numbish.. the surgeon put some big stupid scars across my chest and dint bother to go around the arola which i was kinda annoyed about at the time.

I like the idea of using tamoxifen.. i have loads of it... which i got for free... before i had the gland removal.
im also going to buy some arimidex seems as its on sale at my source... but to me the tamoxifen is winning as last time i was checked i had high cholesterol but was also using orals so i need it redone.

sometimes on higher doses of test i go right of the thought of sex.. one day im pulling at it every day next thing.. i dont think of it for weeks at a time... estrogen being number 1 suspect.

Tamoxifen is what I would use for gyno related symptoms as it binds to the receptors and helps prevent glandular growth, but it will not stop estrogen from building up in your system, so you may still get the low sex drive u describe. If estrogens elevated then meds like arimidex is what I would use to slow estrogen production, but don't go mad with it as, very low estrogen can be just as bad.

There's some really educated guys on this site who can correct me if I'm incorrect.

    Cheers
