Non-Delivery by Parcelforce

I was expecting an order today from Parcelforce and have been in all day waiting for it to arrive, which it never.

I've now looked at their tracking system and it says that there's been an attempted delivery, which there wasn't. I have no card or anything to show for it.

I know a lot of people here order from MP who use Parcelforce (this order wasn't an MP order btw). Has anyone else had problems in the past and if so, how did they solve them.

All advice appreciated.

i think everyone has had this problem with them, call them and ask for a redelivery.

i order alot of stuff online and ive noticed when its parcel force that they sometimes dont even deliver they just stick the a card through the door and drive off to save time, no parcel in hand, no knock on the door, card straight in the letter box and they are off. i have cuaght them doing this 4 times now on cctv, this has been reported to them and apparently action is being taken. no idea if it will.

i dont trust them at all, its a joke, i shouldnt tar them all with the same brush but why the hell not when they rip everyone off.

I had the same problem. They tried to delivery when i was at work. They were supposed to put through my letter box a card telling me that they attempted delivery. They never have put the card through my door. I track my parcel at work and i see on there site that they have attempted delivery but never any card...It's a pain in the ass for me coz the depot is at the other end of glasgow about 14 miles away from me..I end up having to go to collect my own parcel which they were supposed to delivery next day from the 1st attempted delivery. They never listen when i ask why i never get my parcel..

    Had better service from DHL.

    Cheers for the replies lads.

Bit pissed off about this, if it's at the depot then it's well out of town and involves a bus journey through a few suspect housing estates.

At least if it's there though it hasn't been sent back to the company I ordered it from at an extra charge.

On the website it says it can be delivered to my local post office for a fee. Just a shame I can't call them to get it sorted it's all automated responses on the phone.

looks like the driver didnt even bother trying to deliver, just made it up.

Had the same trouble twice in a row when ordering from 1 of the 3 bulk suppliers on here. Wasnt the bulk suppliers fault, just poor transport. Bulk supplier offered me free P&P on my next order.

Gave the transport company a round of fcuk's as i had 2 family members staying in all day waiting for an item that they said they tried to deliver. Got it the next day before 8am.....damn right!

Reckon its nailed on the driver couldnt get it here on time for the next day delivery and rather than cop a bit of flak for it he's just claimed he tried to deliver.

Got a number for the depot now, looking forward to making them a "strongly worded" call in the morning.

Same thing happened to me but they were supposed to be collecting something I was sending.

I emailed them and got a refund. Was a long drawn out affair though.

Parcel force just dump the parcel outside my back door. Had a few split tubs but to be honest my house is quite secluded so I never minded much untill I started ordering egg whites. Must have lost 5 bottles in three different orders. One each in the first two orders and three out of ten in my last order.

I had this problem - the automated voice thing couldn't understand my accent When you hear the options press the one to complain and that'll take you through to a real person who can help you out.

    Good luck with that mate.

At least in my favour it does say attempted delivery and not that someone signed for it.

Still pissed off though but at least if its at the depot I know where it is and as far I can see I can get it re-delivered to my local PO.

Wouldn't mind so much but I'm expecting a larger Parcel Force delivery from a bulk supplier to arrive tomorrow.

This is exactly why we stopped using them and will now not use them at all ..

couldnt you simply use Royal Mail instead? That way if an item couldnt be delivered it'll be available for collection at the nearest Post Office or Depot?

We do use RM as well, but only for lighter packages (<1kg).

    Thanks
