Northern Ireland Best BB ??

Hi Folks,
I was reading the threads & was interested to find one stating the best bodybuilders in Northern Ireland Ever!

Well have to say as for competing Bodybuilders today Liam Stewart & Dave Fox have to be the best around. But when we are talking of the best ever – well I found it funny about a lot of the replies & no mention of Graham Mitchell & Dave Archer both from the North-West of Northern Ireland – I am sure?

Didn’t both these Bodybuilders compete in Nabba shows & didn’t they both beat the likes of Dave Fox, Marty Monahan, Harold penny & John Buchanan?? Does anyone know about Graham Mitchell & Dave Archer?? Would be interesting to know what they are at & if they are still training even – maybe they will make a come back & challenge Dave Fox again???

Any info would be great!

Thanx

agree wit u, two great bb's. graham only competed about 3 times, back training now, davy archer is workin for electricity board in scotland, also a great bb. seem to remember brian crossan beating davy in 1990 while davy was at its peak, if anyone has heard of them since please post, but i think it has to b said that Dave Fox is in a class of his own now. his record proves this and must b said that he is the most successful bb in n. ireland to date.

Glad to be a new member. Best bodybuilders in N. Ireland at present in my opinion would be Dave Fox and Liam Stewart but to say that Dave would be in class of his own wouldn't say much for 2 times N Ireland champion Tony Mount who beat Dave fair and square. I would have to say Tony who is 2 years unbeaten in N Ireland would be up there and as good as Dave, Liam, Tom Mc Peake and its great to see such a high class of competitors as these lads representing N Ireland and getting good results as well. Keep up the good work. I've heard big daddy and his training partner are doing a show in Limerick in 6 weeks. Diet hard lads and walk on stage as my screen name says 'sliced up'! Good luck!

This subjet was talked about many times & each time the thread had to be locked... What's the point?

And strangely it's always a new member who started the thread... No need to say any more...

Are you doing the NABBA show yourself big bapper? If so maybe you would be interested in doing the Derry show a week before. It has to be said the venue and atmosphere was fantastic last year. I think the more shows here the better for everyone. The likes of Paul Byrne from Dublin competed there last year and was very impressed at how welcome he was made and he said the stage and lighting were first class. He will be a big contender for the overall next year. Is there anyone else out there considering doing the Derry show and the Belfast show???

Does a cow ****e in a field. I will come out of hideing to compete in Belfast at NABBA first week in March. Dont want to talk about The Derry show here cause I think that was part of the reason the tread got locked the last time. Why dont you start a new tread about The Derry show SLICED UP ??

In reply to big bapper, i was actually trying to be helpful as only being a new member i never knew of any problems about talking about the derry show. As you also read i talk plenty of the NABBA show as well. It's only my opinion, the more shows the better for us all but if i am offending anybody about talking about the derry show, my apologies, it'll not happen again.

In reply to irishflex, Paul Byrne did do the derry show and won his class and is now going to the world championships to represent Ireland in his height class on 12 december in Italy. And yes as far as i know he does compete in NABBA as well. I think any bodybuilder as good as the likes of Paul should take every opportunity to walk on any world stage and do themselves proud. I have said this to offend nobody or any federation but it can only be good for bodybuilding here when you are up there with the best in the world. Good luck where and whenever you compete, i know the work involved in stepping on stage and the preparation. Respect!
