    Yup, unlikely.

GF may be going home for a bit as her mom is quite sick.
    Unlikely for me tho.

Not sure what to do with all these holidays now, I haven't had any holidays so far this year.

    Any suggestions John?

Already been, probably not going next year so that I can save some money and do something much needed DIY in the house.

There's nothing wrong with 'Cost del Backyard' - it's the time off to recharge you needed, location is not as important.

I'm going away for the first time in ages in a couple of weeks, me and few mates going to watch some rugby in the south of France.....can't wait !!

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness at Tan Hauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. Time to die

Very Skint this year pal, but we are doing one of the The Sun £10 holidays, I thought it would worth a chance, you basically pick from the book half a dozen places you would want to go to (putting you favorite option first) and they will try to allocate you, we was lucky and we got our first choice, going to Wolocombe bay in Devon, i went the loads when i was younger, and my old man couldn't believe we got it for a tenner (well its about £50 really after admin costs and stuff) he said he paid £650 for the 4 of last time went ! lol
Will be on a tight budget, but as long as im away from work i don't care if i live off 7p beans for a week ! Lol

Nope. Mrs out of work since March. She's just started working in a bar but its only a few nights a week. That week in Lanzarote in June 08 seems an awful long time ago.

You did gain far too much fat though,I mean, you're not muscular at all, you're just a fat mess.

    Why are people too skint?
I understand if you or your partner has no job (I was out of work for 10 months until April).

But now I am working again, my financial situation is the same as ever (not counting my, probably, worthless pension plan).

Me and girlfriend have made some cash available/taken on about 3 months worth debt when we come back to make sure we get abroad this year.

Campings a good call for a cheap few nights away in Britain, weve been doing a bit of this lately.

When I was working I paid for a short break in a little holiday camp type affair for the wife and our kids plus one of their friends and a cousin. It's only 20 miles down the A3 but its on the coast, next to the beach and it ticks all the boxes of a holiday.

As its so close I'm popping down tomorrow night and coming back with them on Friday. That's my holiday for this year.
