Nuffield health.

Alright guys. I'm new to this so I'm pretty much clueless as to how this forum works so I apologise if this has been asked before. Anyway onto my question, has anybody been to a Nuffield health gym before? Are they worth the steep membership price or should I be looking elsewhere?

Probably the best thing is for you to walk in there and ask to have a look around and decide for yourself.

My experience is no, it is not worth it, - I found their gym lacked equipment which was the biggest deciding factor for me... my current leisure centre is far better equipped, and cheaper!  I also saw a physiotherapist there once (via private health insurance) and I wasn't impressed with her at all.

I used to walk into a room full of people & wonder if they liked me..... Now I look around & wonder if I like them

Cheers. I'm gonna have to go up and have a look. My local leisure centre is tiny and I'm sure its about £30 a month.

I train at a Nuffield. Its not bad. The big positive for me is that there's not many chavs and the Weights area is often empty. Although i am considering moving to a new 24 hour gym

Yeah one of the reasons I wanted to join a more expensive gym was to avoid waiting around for machines and Rambo chavs

Also, would you mind me asking what you pay? They told me £61 a month on a 3 month rolling contract. That's for all times of day to fit around my varied work hours

Used to go to these sorts of gyms but since the advent of 24 hour gym chains I don't bother. I'm a member of thegym group and my local one is £12.99/month - I just go early to avoid the crowds.
