OTC nootropics

I'm currently trying to source some modafinal but was looking into some OTC nootropics until I get hold of some. I've got two big exams coming up.

Anyone had any good experiences?

tried a few different racetams,  dmea,  choline,  noopept , without much success , nothing works like phenibut,  that's easily the best for me.

Ok I haven't looked into phenibit. Is it an otc drug as well? What benefits did you notice?

Hmm looks like all the reviews are on anxiety. I'm looking for prolonged periods of good concentration.

Been a thread on this before mate. Alphabrain from Onnit defiately made me more alert but then it made me feel sick and I got sore heads, most don't get these side affects though.

Back in college I remember using noopept from time to time to study for exams. Works well for concentration and memory in moderate doses, but you gotta get it right you start feeling very "foggy".

if I was going for an interview or public speaking /presentation scenario , this would be a must have, lots less anxiety , much clearer thinking .  AS an engineer my problem solving is far quicker and in meetings under pressure to work things out and calculate or out think oppositions its very easily done , music sounds unreal , my Chess rating increases by 200+ points and the sleep quality is immense , dreams are very vivid, maybe im really sensitive towards this stuff .

on a downside its highly addictive so I just keep it to 1-2 days per week

Phenibut is good for anxiety, chills you out without clouding your brain.
It wont improve concentration or allow you to study for longer periods of time, doesn't act like a stimulant.
Modafinil on the other hand is excellent for studying, and other work related activities.

It has become a little harder to source in U.K. recently but two very well Known source still stock it.
    Achm, achem(Geoff).. achem ...
    Waits to be banned

It does for me , although I agree it doesn't act like a stimulant, have never tried modafinil so cant really compare the two.

Doc, its worth trying if you get a chance, a lot of professionals are using it these days, including a lot of medical doctors who have to work long shifts.
    Just about my favourite med.

Yeah I've ordered some modafinil now. Also getting an otc racetam as the modafinil could take a while.

I know I could google a lot of this but will probably get a million different opinions, does it affect your sleep , do you get the normal stim come down , does it work like ephedrine where your heart rate it increased and feel hyper?

Not for me no nothing like Eph, much more subtle, the best description that I read is that "wakes up your brain"
I dose it quite low and don't take so much as to get a "hit" from it just enough to work.
It can affect sleep if you dose it high as it has a long half life: 12 to 15 hours.
Its like a very clean Speed but without the tremors.
Some people report feeling hyper on it but they are usually dosing it way too high.
I have 200mg tabs and usually only do 1/4 tab.
Also useful for going out for the night as it doesn`t make me nervous but elevates mood.
Can also have a positive effect on libido/wood

I did have a bit of binge on it when I first came across it.
I think the tolerance is more Psychological than physical.
These  days I use it sparingly but do know people who use it every working day.
Same with the additive issue , more psychological than physical and dependent on the individual.
Certainly don't feel extra tired if I don't use it .
Certainly a lot less additive than caffeine IME .
It is rumoured that it may become an OTC medicine in the future.
