Good man. Less timber is a good thing, you done IF before? I've never given at a go yet.

Cheers. I did it a couple of years ago and lost about 15kg, got injured(lolz) and fell out of the routine. I find it so easy to stick to. Last food about 8-9pm and then nothing except coffee, water until 12:30-13:00pm. Restrict the Kcals to under 1800/2000k, ramp up training and it melts off. I re-feed a little at the weekend.

Wow that's some pretty low calories, especially with cardio!

Are you able to maintain lean mass/strength ok on that?

Surprisingly the last time I ran with IF my benching actually improved. I'm a big fella, 6ft 3 and 142kgs, maybe being large with plenty of spare 'resources' assists with keeping the energy levels workable...lol

If I feel myself getting drained I'll just add some calories.

IF is great for losing a bit of timber mate. Used it in the past and I'm a huge fan of it.

What's your window length like?

IF is great, I used to do it when I trained in the evenings as I loved training fasted and then slamming in loads of food post workout. At one point I got my window down to 2 hours. Over 3000 cals in 2 hours, dont know how I did it lol.

I still train fasted as I find I have more energy and focus that way but I eat throughout the day now.

Those cals are very low man, Id be crying on that little food lol

Agreed mate. Once you get switched into it it's so easy to follow. The fast is usually between 8-9pm to 12:30/13:00pm. About 16 hours.

They are low but they have to be mate. Remember I'm a big man with a lot of extra weight to lose, my body has plenty of reserves to cope with it..lol...

No training today as the wife was on nights last night.

Food today:

70gr Oats with SS Milk
Whole Chicken Breast and salad Sarnie with lashing of mustard and light mayo
2 small tangerines, banana, small apple
Salmon Fillet with a small Baked Potato and Coleslaw
4 eggs scrambled

Training tomorrow morning, loads of pressing and some cv

Can't wait for Saturday, got tickets for the Winter Strongman Comp. Going to watch Eddie Hall and others in action. Big Z and Big Loz are the referees. Should be a great watch!

I wish I'd got tickets, it will be a great show! Have you ever been to a live event before like this? I went last year to one and I just couldn't get over the size of these men in real life. It's madness!

I've been to local ones but none with the big boys in it. I cannot wait mate, I'm really hoping there's an overhead event just to watch Eddie in action! I thinks there's tickets left if you fancied it?!

Show sounds awesome. Saw Eddie hall on worlds strongest a week or so ago. Absolute animal, young as well so should be even more monstrous in a few more years.

In the flesh he is just titanic! The width and depth of the man is crazy!

However, when you see the likes of Brian Shaw and Thor... They're like dinosaurs, proper mutants!
