Opinions on my diet please :-)
Hi Guys, I am trying to slim down and tone up for my honeymoon in August and was wondering if you could take a look at my diet. I have lost some weight and noticed my definition improving but there is always room for more! I currently do a full body weights routine 3 times a week and kickboxing 1 or 2 times a week, I also try to fit 1 or 2 cardio sessions in as well. A typical dayâ€™s diet is:
5: 30 â€“ Wake
5:40 â€“ 50g oats made with water and a whey protein shake
6:30 â€“ Train (45 mins weights followed by 20mins cardio)
7:30 â€“ Whey protein shake + banana
9:30 â€“ 75g pasta + 1 tin tuna
11:30 â€“ Handful of cashew nuts + a yoghurt
13:30 â€“ Omelette with 2 whole eggs + 2 egg whites, 1 piece wholemeal toast
15:30 â€“ Handful of cashew nuts + 1 apple
18:30 â€“ 75g pasta / rice / potatoes + 150g â€“ 200g lean meat + veg (meals vary)
21:00 â€“ 300g cottage cheese
22:00 â€“ Whey/casein protein shake
23:00 â€“ Bed
When I go kickboxing I train in the evening and wake up an hour later but meal plan stays similar except I eat my main meal at 22:00.
Oh, and Iâ€™m about 93kg (down from 98) and I would guess 15-17% bf, hoping to get down to 10-12%.
