Other than pull ups/downs, deads and rows, which do you think is best back exercise?

Im currently doing cable pullovers to hit my back along with the obligatory BB rows and pull ups (giving deads a rest for now). im not sure how much good pull overs are doing to be honest, and im just wondering what others do in addition to said exercises?

Any type of Cleans or Snatchs.

    Back Extensions.

Remember there are lots of variations of Rows, Chins and Deads to choose from.

Deads are great for back, but seeing as your having a break from them. Just do lots of different rowing movement and chin/pull ups.

Im not a body builder, but I work my back 3 times a week, directly and indirectly. You can do fair bit of volume too.

Alter the grip on your rows from wide to narrow, and the same with heaves.. bent over row is my favourite, along with deads, single arm row, low row is good but emphasise the lat  movement before the biceps...

The key to back training is to move the back before the biceps engage.

    Good luck

Width: pull ups, heavy low reps. pull ups high reps (change the grip), chin ups. super set them all together.
Thickness: Rows (you can do isometric holds) with various grip widths and weights
Auxillary: Cleans, shrugs, Face pulls, good mornings
