Out of curiosity ...

How many of you guys have trained and trained and finally reached your desired target, and then actually been contempt/happy with the way you look and feel? Have you actually managed to get to a weight or size and thought thats it? I am where i want to be? Or do you find that its more of a constant battle to achieve biggerness / cutness?

I don;t think anyone is happy.

14 months ago I'd have done anything to get my body ... now it's no where near what I want.

IO have a vision of how I want to look, but I know as soon as I get close I'll want to be bigger and more cut

    Never ending battle

Thats the same as how i feel mate,

I look at old photos and the difference is outstanding, yet i still feel as though ive achieved nothing and am still as unhappy about my body as when i started a year ago. Kinda makes me wonder weather it was actually worth starting in the first place sometimes!

On a side note, i reckon if i can gain this final stone that i want, i will be in a position where i am happy with my physique, getting theres the hard part though

Ive just accepted ill never be happy, so i am happy with that.

However, that doesnt mean i am not proud of what i have been able to achieve so far.

I agree with wiffers, i dont think n e of us are goin to be happy, granted were all pleased with the progress we have made, but always want a better final project. Reminds me of a quote i heared (pretty sure on this website) along the lines of "Im the biggest ive ever been and the smallest im ever going to be"

I was very very happy of how I looked at my last show at the World: I know I could hold the condition only for another 2 weeks, but I achieved the size & condition I wanted

I don't wish to be bigger...

Same here my target is just to be bigger and cut abs etc but i guess when i get to that stage i wont be happy say with my legs so i will want them bigger and so on and so on.

It never ends i guess. Take lots of pics of your progress and then when you do look back at your progress.

I love it i will never stop

Sometimes happy, sometimes not very happy at all to the point where I might even cancel a night out because I dont feel I look big enough.

99% of time, Im alright. I just know itll take some time before I am really happy with my physique. Im fine for now, although want less bf so its just sticking to the diet and cardio regime.

Hazard a touch of narcissism without shame.

Nope! Never content to leave it there. When I started I wanted to weigh 12 stone (had been ill and was around 11st5), then 13, then 14, etc. Now over 19st I want to go back down a bit...

I hear what your all saying and i am the same of a lot of you guys.

I just find the psychological implications of training interesting as well. For instance, before i started training i wouldnt hesistate to take my top off for a girl, or wear a short sleeve Tee etc, where as now i feel rather pathetic if i do, even though im like twice the size of what i used to be. Its like you dont even notice all the huge/good gains you've made over the time youve been training, but only notice the inadequacies that you feel make your physique crap. I still feel that im tiny lol even though i know im not...

Its strange and perhaps its just me lol

Im pretty happy with the way i am now, have gone from 9 and ahalf stone, to near 13 stone and bf is about 13%. Im almost content, except id like a bf of around 10%. Thats it really. May as well push to 13 stones too, only a couple of pounds off.
