Ox's - Operation Deadlift 400kg

You know what goes on in here so I won't go into details, for those new to my journal, take a look at my old journal here:

Very pleased..the 97kg x 8 is a big rep PB, and I think there was 1 maybe 2 more there but rest paused it to get a little more done. According to the calculator that puts me on a 122kg max. I wasn't going to attempt anything too heavy today but the 106.5kg went up so fast I nearly thre myself backwards so decided to try the 120 again. Twice I nearly nearly locked it and i'm happy enough with that as I was fatigued from repping, it feels light on the shoulders now so know when fresh I have it in me and maybe a bit more, progress coming quickly. The main 531 set was very light and every rep apart from the last 2 were leg driven to lockout, no pressing involved, leg drive improving rapidly. It was raining VERY heavy the whole time I was out there and it was like being in a shower so I wasn't expecting much so very pleased. I saw lightning strike nearby on the last set so packed it in and went into The Ox Box for safety! Job done though.

Awesome sets, crazy that 110kg x 7 is a rep PB, shows how little I've repped! All nice improvements though and I can finally feel some tricep work being done, really enjoyed all these sets.

Triceps destroyed, my god these hurt after all the compounds, I can barely bend my arms!
Awesome session, pressing keeps getting better and everythings coming together with 531 and my method working well together, very happy indeed.
Another few months should see me hit 125kg on the axle push press and I have expectations for big big bench improvements over the winter.

This afternoon I have done a 30 minute 30kg chain around neck walk and 2 deadlift walks around the block with 125kg then one walk around with 100kg sack on my back - this last one was TOUGH!
Deads and a few new bits i'm messing with tomorrow, hopefully my tight lower back will ease off by then.
Hope my regular followers will continue to follow my journal, i will do my best to keep some crazy stuff coming :)
