We got an plate loaded ISO dip machine. Could put upto 400kgs on if I want! put a request into the suggestion box!

A tough height for me as I lose that speed I can generate from the floor, feels so much tougher than a floor pull but felt good today. I have noticed lately with my floor deads and these block deads I am getting very sore in my mid upper back...really feel I am locking in tighter and working that lockout strength I need so badly.

Some good grunt work done working up to a decent fatigued 200. Felt productive today.

Good full ROM sets with a good stretch and big squeeze on every rep.

Performed explosively with a slower negative..hams cramping up bad from the movement...focusing more on muscle movement and weight compared to what I was doing...more effective.
 
Strict Top Paused Smith Shrugs - 90 sec rests

Felt good, maybe a tad light but squeezed hard and held the contraction at the top, traps blew up nicely so effective.
 
And that was that, first week of new build up done..a good start. Bench session 1 on Monday 6am I think.

Lockout looked very strong

Its coming on mate...using the coming weeks to re-inforce locking in my starting position  to make the lockout easier.

Training this morning so I don't have to get up at 5am tomorrow...taking my 6 year old daughter with me, should be fun lol. Heavy bench session today and accessory work.

Got my first session in of the week today to avoid a stupid o clock session tomorrow...went well.

Exactly as plan required...not exactly speedy today...elbows feeling a bit crap but moved ok. Last warm up of 120 felt heavier than the 140 work sets.

Very nice sets, upper chest blew up nicely on them, strength on the up still on them too and shoulder/elbows not complaining.

On the new pec dec...felt much better than the old one, big burn. Shoulder seems to like this new machine too...pure focus on chest...will be using this a lot more from now on.

Again very nice sets and hits my weaker upper chest area very well...a very humbling movement for me.

Strength up again, love this machine, could just do with a tad more padding on the elbow area but the bicep activation is immense.

Not done a barbell strict press in ages...felt ok, 80kg was pretty simple, much more there, not bad seeing as I don't train it these days.
 
Overhead Rope Extensions - 90 sec rests

Kept it light and strict as elbow is not 100% still...good solid reps with a good stretch and contraction every time, triceps pumped up alright.
 
And that was that...seeing as my daughter was there no chance of cardio today but will get some in during the week.
 
Day off tomorrow then some heavy doubles on deads and squats Tuesday.

Cheers mate...daughter wasn't with me when deadlifting mate but if she does come with sits on chair nearby :)
 
I'm primarily a strength trainer but I am a hybrid lifter...goal of a 400kg deadlift but a bodybuilders body...one day lol.
