Woke up with a painful left knee, felt like it did when I had hamstring tendonitis, wasn't there before bed, very weird. Anyways it eased a little in first work shift and I warmed up well at the gym and stretched out once warm and it didn't effect my quad training, still feels a tad off now though. Will keep an eye on it, always something lol. Session 4 - Bodyweight 104.7kg this morning, new high with no change in condition. Close Stance Hack Squats 40kg x 10 80kg x 10 100kg x 5 125kg x 20 rep pb 150kg x 10 rep pb 5kg up on both sets and reps maintained, knee felt ok, quads were battered though, reps and strength building very well on these, quads have to grow! Belt Squats 145kg x 12 rep pb 165kg x 6 rep pb Again 5kg upon each set and reps maintained, quads like jelly by this point. Sissy Hack Squats 45kg x 12 rep pb 47.5kg x 6 rep pb Reps up by 6 on rep one with same weight as last time and a new bigger weight for set 2. Awesome exercise this, thoroughly finished my quads off. One Arm Cable Preacher Curls 25kg x 12 35kg x 12 40kg x 12 42.5kg x 8 Switched from machine to these as I was stalling out and these are far superior, the constant tension of the cable is much better, pump was awesome. Low Incline Dumbbell Curls 22kg x 8 rep pb 22kg x 8 22kg x 8 Superset with Incline Bench Dumbbell Pressback 12.5kg x 12 rep pb 12.5kg x 12 12.5kg x 12 Lovely supersets and blew arms up nicely. Weight up on both movements and moving well, arms feeling it by the third superset. Leg Press Calf Raise 260kg x 10 260kg x 10 260kg x 10 260kg x 10 volume pb Quick blitz with minimal rest ..very painful, got some good deep stretches in. And that was that, crazy busy with business and day job at the moment and sorting out my level 4 GP referral training too. Looking forward to a half chilled weekend, little work on Saturday but a long lie in possible, then back for the rugby with the missus...with her arriving I am expecting to be able to sleep at last :)

My Mrs does anything but help me sleep. I have about 6hrs between going to bed and waking up, 7 at best. The first hour she's kicking her legs up and down throwing the duvet around with her leg pains. Then she eventually gets to sleep and the fvcking noises she makes, you've never heard anything like it. Like living in a fvcking tropical zoo. But I digress. Solid session, hope the hammy is nowt to worry about

Have you tried making her a sandwich to see if that helps?

Lol jeez mate sounds rough lol! Can still feel it a little this morning but nothing too bad, will get the missus to look at it for me :) Cheers dude.

Thanks mate, yes BW is creeping up there and abs still just about there, hopefully I can creep over 105-106kg before prep begins. Deffo mate, got some work on tomorrow afternoon but only a few hours :)

Better night sleep last night, a decent 7 hours :) Session 5 - BW 104.2kg Bench Press 60kg x 10 80kg x 10 100kg x 10 120kg x 5 140kg x 3 160kg x 1 200kg Negative 180kg x 2 160kg x 6 200kg felt light in the hands, and got a very nice slow negative. 180 double was fast, wish i'd filmed it as it was best ever, very easy another 1-2 there i'd say, 160kg x 6 was comfy oo, again a few more there. Enough for today, feel a bit beat up but just wanted some work in. Decline Smith Bench 40kg x 10 80kg x 10 100kg x 10 120kg x 10 140kg x 6 Brought these in as I feel lower chest is a real weakness, not sure I have them set quite right yet, may look at pre fatiguing pecs before these to see if that makes a difference. Chest certainly feeling them though. Negative Dips - 10 second negatives and a held deep stretch BW x 5 BW x 5 Trying these out, on a fatigued chest worked very well indeed. Leaning One Arm Cuffed Side Cable Lateral Raise 22.5kg x 12 rep pb 22.5kg x 12 22.5kg x 12 Log book smashed and side delts wasted from these, felt great. Decline Hammer Strength Lateral raise 10kg x 12 rep pb 10kg x 10 10kg x 8 I do like this exercise, very unusual but really targets medial head very well. Chest Supported Rows 50kg x 15 rep pb 60kg x 10 rep pb Lat healed no doubt, back strength surging back and no pain. Vertical Back Machine Row - Hammer Grip 103kg x 20 135kg x 8 Yup its back...95kg x 12 last week was twingy, 135kg x 8 today felt spot on, time to get building back again. Hammer Strength Face Pulls 100kg x 12 rep pb 120kg x 8 rep pb Rear delts love this exercise, awesome pumps and log book smashed. And that was that, another week done and loads of progress. One more week of my blast before we cruise. The week after next I am deloading/missing a few sessions as its half term and my body has take a hell of a beating since October, time to knock things back slightly for a week. Hoping to start with Coach in March.

LOL :) Conditions not too bad bud, outline of abs still there, I estimate I will be around 90 -92kg on stage, still got a good few months of off season to go yet. Blast ends next week so expecting a drop off of a few KG in water bloat.

Cheers Jay...not a statement I ever thought i'd make lol. Well the weekend was good and bad....had my missus up and sleep was deep and very good. Unfortunately Friday afternoon/evening I developed a migraine that made me violently sick all day Saturday...just coinciding with my Level 4 PT assessment...joy...was not good. Lost sight in my right eye and generally felt incredibly rough. Woke up sunday and migraine had passed but was left feeling utterly wiped out with a 'crinkly head' kind of feeling. Very relaxing day though and enjoyed the rugby and got an early night. In to the gym a little later today as missus didn't leave until later so spent some more time with her then headed to gym. Plan was to work up to a fast 180 bench and then rep 160kg if possible...felt very tired and rough on getting to the gym but warm ups felt good. Session 1 Bench Press 60kg x 10 100kg x 10 120kg x 5 140kg x 5 160kg x 1 180kg x 3 rep pb 180kg x 1 three second pause on chest 195kg x 1 Lifetime PB 160kg x 6 Well I wasn't expecting or planning that. First 180 moved so fast I thought sod it lets triple it, wish I had filmed it but hadn't planned it. Was going to call It there after one more 180 that I did a long pause for but ego got the better of me. Chavs in the gym filming and shouting at one of them deadlifting 140kg with the most dog $hit I have ever seen encouraged me to nail a small pb, despite being fatigued so loaded 195kg and it moved half ok. Chavs then left lol. Stiff Leg Deadlifts Off Low Pin 100kg x 5 140kg x 5 180kg x 5 220kg x 5 260kg x 3 Brought a form of deads back in to focus on my hamstrings and these felt nice, pretty easy reps still and lat feeling ok. Hamstrings hit nicely. High Cable Flyes 3 x warm ups x 20 reps each 23kg a side x 15 28kg a side x 9 Used a different machine to usual and it felt good, nice focus on lower pecs so will try and stick with this for the time being. Massive pump and burn. One Arm Cross Body Decline Hammer Strength 20kg x 15 30kg x 10 These feel really good, the contraction you can get by sitting sideways and pressing like this is crazy, my pecs currently still feel fatigued from these, great movement. Seated Calf Raise 80kg x 9 rep pb 80kg x 7 80kg x 6 80kg x 6 Log book beaten and nice reps, calves feeling these. And that was that, decent session. Last week of blast this week, deloading next week when I have a week off work with my daughter :)

Haha! I'm not one for ego but these twats had it coming, making so much noise and pretending to be the big I am with 3 plates on a deadlift ffs! My missus can pull that! Lol ta buddy.
