Details all being confirmed, starting with my prep coach net months, few months of off season before we begin.
 
Looking forward to this, having the pressure took away and let me concentrate my efforts on my clients and Teamox!

Holy smokes mate that was one hell of a bench PB, moved very well!
 
You should have asked the chavs to film you, that would have really shut them up lol.

Cheers mate...I might have a pop at 200kg this week, we'll see, will be shutting PL stuff down then until late this year most likely, coach will have me doing very different things!
 
Haha, I tell you you'd have thought they were deadlifting 400kg the way they were screaming, bleeding twunts.

Strength has gone through the roof on these, loading pins are full to the max now though...may have to look to adding bands...depends what coach has me doing I guess.
 
Belt Squats
 
150kg x 12 rep pb
170kg x 7 rep pb
 
Again log book broken...5 kg up and reps maintained on set 1, 5kg up and 1 rep up on set 2. Job done.
 
Adductor Machine
 
111kg x 12 rep pb
111kg x 10
 
Again reps up but 4 on set 1 and 2 on set 2, feeling these.
 
Incline Bench Cuffed Cross Body Cable Lateral Raise
 
11.25kg a side x 15
11.25kg a side x 15
11.25kg a side x 12
 
Had to use a different cable machine and its weighted very different but its waaay better, much smoother and can set it up better. These smoked my side delts.
 
Incline Bench Lying One Arm Cuffed Cable Lateral Raise

13.75kg a side x 10
 
Again having to use the new machine but again, felt awesome on delts, smoother and just felt better, Side delts utterly wrecked, job done.
 
One Arm Preacher Cable Curls

47.5kg x 6 rep pb
 
Log book smashed, 42.5kg x 6 last week so big increases and very smooth solid reps, Love these, the stretch and contraction you can get is huge, massive pumps.
 
Incline Bench Rope Hammer Cable Curls
 
35kg x 20
45kg x 20
55kg x 12
65kg x 8
 
Another new movement and they felt really good, can lean back and get a big stretch and a huge ROM, massive pumps, forearms screaming too, very effective.
 
Bent Over EZ Pressback
 
35kg x 12 rep pb

Feeling good on the elbows so will take it, eeking up slowly and surely. Nice pump in triceps.
 
And done, nice little session and some good progress.

The coach taking some of the mental weight off your mind will be a great thing.
You followed Welsh Wizards plans well (a year or 2 ago?) so I'm sure you will have no problem getting your head around someone else taking the wheel for a while.
Like you've said before, you're committed to bodybuilding and a large part of that must be trusting those that have been there and done it. Might as well burn the cash if your not going to follow the prep.

It will be very interesting to see what setup is involved given your immense strength. Injury avoidance as you get closer to show time must be factored in.

Hopefully mate, he has some pretty immense credentials so I am hopeful for some good progress. Pics I sent to him went down well, he thinks I have potential for some great progress this year :)

Good memory! Yes I did well with Ash, learnt a lot...that was 3 years ago, I had a powerlifting coach too at one point and I did well with him too so makes sense to find someone well versed in competitive bodybuilding and learn and grow from him.
 
I shall follow plans to the letter as I expect my clients to do, its the only way to ensure progress...trust in the process the coach has planned.

Be really interesting to see what plans your coach has for you, especially considering how strong you are. Will be a great learning point for you as well in regards to your own coaching, it will be money well spent mate.

Great session today, dropped chest as I think twice a week is enough and wanting to get back to more back work as lat feels like its healed now :)
 
Session 3 - Monring BW - 103.5kg
 
Deadlifts
 
60kg x 10
100kg x 5
140kg x 5
180kg x 5
220kg x 5
260kg x 3
300kg x 1
 
Aim was 260kg - 280kg x 1 but I felt very good and lat was nicely warmed up, i'm a little slower off the floor, one because i'm out of practice but 2 also because i'm trying to tighten my form to make lockout easier. Happy enough with that and felt so nice to deadlift again. Forgot to put a belt on too and 300kg is actually the most I have pulled beltless lol. Bloody enjoyed these :) 
 
Smith Machine Rows
 
80kg x 12
130kg x 15 rep pb
150kg x 8 rep pb
 
These are building well and upper back nicely worked, decent increases on last week and lat felt fine :)
 
Close Grip Pulldowns
 
90kg x 15
100kg x 8
 
Set 1 5 reps up on last week and new bigger weight for set 2, will push on to beat my old bests now, these were good full reps and lats pumped well.
 
Seated Cable Row To Chest
 
65kg x 15
75kg x 15
 
Not done before and they felt great, stronger than I was expecting tbh. Lovely pumps and feeling good.
 
Bent Over Cuffed Cable Lateral Raise
 
30kg x 10 rep pb
30kg x 10
 
2 reps up on last week on set 1 and managed to repeat it in set 2. Rear delts burning.
 
Seated Mid Point Paused Hamstring Curls
 
95kg x 8 rep pb
95kg x 8
95kg x 6
95kg x 6
 
1 rep up on set 1 and managed to repeat it, didn't have to drop weight to finish sets off either. Hamstrings really felt these after deads.
 
And that was that, great session, lat feels good and got some great upper back work in, feels good to be back pulling some weight even if it is fairly light, 300kg is not a bad weight at this point. I'm expecting coach to be having me repping 260+ for reps, will see what he programs!

Depends how many sets he wants you doing and how much he's willing to let DLs eat in to recovery and potential hypertrophy. Smart trois-cent pulling
