PCT -does is really have the benefits claimed?

Just as the subject says fellas, I'm wondering if PCT really does have the benefits (for maintainin gains) often claimed?

I've used dbol in the past and used Nolva for PCT and barely kept any gains I had made during the cycle. So is PCT really effective at helping maintaining gains? Obvioulsy any literate perosn can read the various articles and reports on this to get the chemical pros, but I'm more interested in peoples personal experiences with this.

I'm due to end my current dbol cycle this weekend and start my Nolva PCT -during which I expect to lose significant gains.

keeping gains after cycle depends on a number of things, PCT being just one of them. Try upping your cals and supplementing with creatine and glutamine during PCT i find this helps to keep gains. Obviously you will lose some gains, mainly water weight.

PCT helps with HPTA regeneration that is one factor of keeping muscle gains post cycle. Another main factor will be diet e.g. protein/carb ratio along with some additional supplements to maintain strength etc.

I tend to reduce the volume of my training during PCT and find this helps also.

really dbol only cycles dont yeild quality gains that you can keep...Its mainly used as a kicker or stacked with other AAS, so the quicker the gains the quicker the loss..

PCT is very important IMO, mainly to get HPTA kickstarted,

Keeping cals very high throughout PCT is crucial to maintaining gains IMO

Also I think you made a mistake only taking Nolva for PCT. IMO Clomid is better than Nolva for getting your Test levels back and thus keeping your gains. I always use Both Clomid and Nolva for my PCT.

    Try Clomid next time

Of course it helps but there are more factors to consider i.e diet, training and genetics.
