PPWO

If I have 40g whey and about 50g dextrose/maltodextrin PWO, then can I have only protein and a lot of vegetables for PPWO?

    IMO No.

    It will depend on the rest of your diet and your goals.

    But I'd say the veg part of PPWO may not be ideal - I'd go for some complex carbs with the protein here. Have a read of this:

    So depending on your goals - it would be the dextrose/maltodextrin PWO that I'd be up for questioning:

    ie If im trying to loose body fat - I would leave it out.

    If I was trying to put on muscle as a priority - I may decide to include it - but whether you include it or the amount you choose to include is dependant on the rest of your diet, IMO.

    (Id keep the whey in water PWO whether bulking or cutting though)

    Im just asking if the vegetables and the carbs in the PWO would be enough to replenish glycogen and do everything that the carbs after workout should do

    lots of veg? lots of potatos or lots of lettuce

    lots for a 130lb guy, lots for a 250lb guy
