PRE +POST WORK OUT SHAKES?

Hey guys, what do you guys put in your shake befor and after a work out.
i have,
pre-300ml skim milk 2 scoops matrix whey, 1 slice toast, 1 apple.
post-300ml skim milk 2 scoops whey, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams l-glutamine, 50grams dextrose, then an hr later a meal.

is that enough to eat before work out? or should i be having some other supp aswell?

After reading on the net about pre and post food/shakes, you should not use creatine before a work and only after wards?
i used to get realy bad heads in the gym when taking creatine before training, so i just stopped taking it altogether.
But the guided amount on the packets/tubs say to take pre work out aswell?
The body can only use 5grams of creatine a day aparnently so no point in taking more? so ive read.

    ditch the apple before hand

take the creatine after training and ditch the milk with your post workout shake

also i would say post workout meal between 30-40mins after your pwo shake

    :)

jackets not bad but only to have post workout tbh because of the gi level and even here it should still aim to be low-medium GI

post workout meal should include carbs, protein and fats. so if your sticking with jacket and tuna, drizzle some olive oil on top or some mayonaise etc etc

yeah i always have mayo with the tuna, can't eat it with out it.
sorry time is between 5.15 - 6pm, then hit gym around 30 mins later.
should i be putting a table spoon full virgin olive oil my my breakfast shake or is 1 cap of cod liver oil ok?
i have breakfast at 8am, plain shake and 1 toast.

make sure its full mayo tho, the other mayos just put s**t loads of sugar in it!

i would say use both oils, and have 2 caps of cod live oil

maybe even pop a couple eggs and a little bit more carbs for brekky eg eggs on 2 wholemeal toasts

low fat mayos are higher in other ingredients, and I am pretty sure they contain more water, and therfore use thickening agents such as xantana/Xantham Gum to acheive the consistancy, sure someone can correct me if i sm wronf

hey dave, i trying to put on muscle and loose a bit of fat so my abs are showing, just finished an aas bulk cycle so have cut down on a lot of cal's.
ive read on a bodybuilding wed site that you should have between 0.25-0.4 g per lb of body weight, so based on 0.3 i should be having 71g? it seems to be a bit much especialy for the price of it.

I just use a post workout shake.

Dont bother with pre workout. Really cant see the point. I guess a NO drink might be useful for getting a pump, but that's all it is, just for the pump, it wont help with hypertrophy.

I use muscletech's celltech post workout and either cno pro peptide or gaspari myofusion for my protein blend about 10 mins post workout.

Then the rest of the day, good solid wholesome food.

2 scoops of either PHD or MP whey protein, a tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter, couple tablespoons of instant oats. Blended. Yum.
