PWO Weetabix

What do you guys have PWO?

I have read before that people have weetabix along with their shake....

...so do you just mix it in with your whey & water? Or would you have it in milk?

Alos how many do you have?

Dave.

It's all dependent on your goals and whole diet.

Currently i have one Weetabix with my shake.

...and yes i just put the water, powder and Weetabix in the blender together.

Why do you put weetabix in your PWO?

Hazard a touch of narcissism without shame.
There is no room for junk food in any diet whatsoever, leave the junk in the bin.

I generally take a combination of maltodextrin & L-glutamine with whey and leuceine, and dextrose with creatine in my PWO shake.

here is where I got the idea from:

This is taken from one of James' articles...

If you do feel glutamine is worth including, take one of your daily servings with carbohydrate (e.g. fruit juice) at least half an hour away from other protein sources, as other amino acids will compete for receptor uptake. You may also wish to add an additional 2-3g to your early morning and post-workout whey protein drinks. I see no need for it to be used in the ridiculously high doses some bodybuilders recommend.

I was always under the impression that siple carbs were preferred post workout to give the insulin spike? Then complex carbs an hour later or so.
