Re:PWO protein doses
Ask 10 different ppl and you will likely get 10 different answers from megadosing at like 50gms + to more modest dosings of 15-25gms. Guess it depends on the individual and training and daily nutrition. I've seen some studies that state protein synthesis dramatically increases when you go from 5-10 to 15 right upto 25 gms protein pwo, a further increase from 25-40gms yeilded very little further increases in protein synthesis although this is likely to be scoffed at by people who read magazines that suggests massive amounts of protein powder as they all have commercial interests in advising more!
I personally fail to see why individuals taking in several protein rich meals a day would need massive amounts of protein at any one time?
