Pain in top of arm
Hi there I have been training now for 5 months.. last 3 weeks i have rested from the gym due to a weird pain in my left arm...It doesnt hurt whilst training but i can feel it after..
the pain is like a shooting pain when i apply pressure eg i tried to do a few pushups today and could feel it. sort of top arm area between bicep and tricep...it doesnt hurt to touch i can shrug fine but really feel it doing a side lateral move without weight can only get to a crucifix position before it really hurts.
any ideas what this could be????

Sounds like some damage to the medial delt (if I am understanding the locations on the outside of your arm); maybe a strain. Ice and go see a good sport physio!
