People Who Know Nothing.

i find it extremely annoying people keep complaining that i eat far to much (small meal every 3 hours) and then when you try to explain, they think your talking bullsh*t and say you should just have a 3 good meals like every1 else - especially the parents who complain more than anyone and dont understand why i eat every 2-3 hours and think that whey protein is some drug..

also i find it annoying when you know people who go to the gym and explain to them that if you dont have a good diet your not going to make progress and again they think your talking bullsh*t but it's obvious that im making progress and there not..

why to people have to be so annoying ?

LOL i know what you mean, try explaining it to my GF and my family and friends

They can see the changes and they still ask "why do you eat so much etc etc"

you can't educate the world but it helps to bear in mind, once you were as neive,
give help if its asked,if not ignore them and go about your businness

also sometimes people around and in the gym,may know more than us but simply b
may not choose to display this or have reason for not following it

its unreasonable they assume to not understand your choice and lifestyle but its equally uneasonable for you not to undertsand that, they have no or little training intrest and that this its your latest fad, phase

just cos its new and exciting too you,it don't mean the world will sit up and listen, nor does it mean we have a right to preach

dude don't sweat the small stuff in life, one day you'll need that energy for something real

You'll get people like that in all walks of life. It's mainly ignorance and the fact that they haven't got the effort and drive to do something so demanding......I am getting it now with my mates...mention I didnt drink on the weekend and they look at me as if i have grown another head..............

Just get on with it and when you take your top off and the ladies are interested just turn to the people .....give them a little smirk and walk off into the sunset.....preferably with the song....."Whatta man whatta man what a mighty good man" playing in the background somehow

    Are you fat?

If you're not fat then you're clearly not eating too much

Explain this to them. Anyone can understand that. You don't have to be into bbing to realise that if someone is not fat then they're not eating too much!

I love the way this thread popups every month without fail.

Can we sticky one? Title it "yes were all wierdos" or something so we dont get repeats?

Just ignore them, I just nod at the fattys who say i eat to little or eat to much or am doing XXXXXXX wrong or that im taking whey steroid shakes.

let them sit on their sofa eating their ready meal and get on with your own thing mate.

Then we should (as I do) not worry about fat buggers and their comments either. Why we do what we do is no different to the eternal question 'so why did you climb it?' to which the reply is 'cos it was there'. The longer you do this thing we do the less you worry about what others think of you - it's a sign of confidence.

Better get used to it mate as there will always be people like this. I used to be one and always used to tell myself, "I'll start tomorrow" but as we know tomorrow never comes

I see that you should try to educate people about the topic of bb and the benefits, but it's when these people be ignorant and think your just talking crap, especially the people who do isolation moves for endless sets putting their whole body into each movement (i.e. curls) and then expect to grow massive arms when they have a poor/non existence diet.

    btw- topic title changed.

My Mum's classic line to me is "Why do you go the gym all the time; you're big enough?'

If you can enjoy yourself, why can’t you enjoy anyone else?
