RE: Phone Interview HELP!
Never been in a call centre job but I would imagine they would ask you the usual:
strong communication, being able to express yourself clearly and consiously.
Time Management skills, prioritising tasks and delievering them to a high standard. Working to deadlines in the past etc.
Working with others, being able to work together in a team, bouncing off of others. People person etc.
Friendly outgoing personality. Stays cool under pressure.
Computer literate, word, excel etc.
Try and have examples of previous employment were you have exercised and honed your skills. Also be prepared for them to put scenarios to you:
i.e How would you deal with an agressive customer?
Always have a weakness prepared, I hate that question but some companies insist in asking you what you are crap at?
Do a wee bit of reading up on the company before hand and have a few questions for them prepared for the end of the interview.
