Photoshoot Advice/Help!

Hi,

I'm doing a photoshoot for my portfolio next Friday so I can hopefull get some work.

I've worked pretty hard, cut down to around 9% bodyfat but obviously want to look my best on the day.

What's the best routine for the week ahead?  I'll be shooting around 9am NEXT friday (not this week).

So thinking a dehydration routine?  How to do this?  What kind of training should I do during the week?  High rep to keep me pumped?

I plan to cut carbs pretty much completely starting Monday.  I have a pretty low carb diet as it is so I'm not too worried about this.

Supplement wise, I have NOS (Arginine Alpha-Ketogluterate), Multivitamins, Dandelion Root (diauretic?) and Vanadyl Sulphate.  Can always get more.

Will hit the sunbeds too and a chestwax booked in for tomorrow! :D

nb: I'm looking at fitness/swimwear modelling work so I want to look ripped but I'm not a bodybuilder and wont be having a sub-5% bodyfat look or anything.

All help greatfully recieved!

Thanks,
#1

If you want to look stringy then dehydrate and cut carbs, but i'm not sure that's the look that'll get you the work!

high rep wont keep you pumped

and droping carbs now why? all the work should have been done before the week before, you should carb up the night before the shoot

if your not looking to be bodybuilder ripped you shouldnt need to do anything with water manipulation should look lean already if you are lean

I think this is a decent article from T-Nation. I've used a version of it twice and it helped me both times to look better on the day of pics.

No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH  - drab4

Have you been waxed before?  Be careful you don't come out in a rash!

Good read that.  I'm level 2 at the moment, looking to hit level 3 in 39 days (see signature).  Might give the above a bash just to see how it goes.

I plan to have photos done if I'm happy with the way I look too, just for personal interest/parading around MT more than anything, so may give that a go to maximise results.

This is the week before mate, the shoot is next Friday.  A week tomorrow.  Hence have time to prepare.

I'm not looking to be totally ripped but even the mens health style models go through a carb manipulation/dehydration routine pre-shoot.  Just looking to get the right one!

Waxed before (had it done today), so I'll be fine for next week :D
