Photoshop

Just downloaded the free 30 day trial to see what the fuss was all about. F.uck me you need a degree to understand this programme ha ha.

What do you use photoshop for (apart from hilarious MT phots of course) and did you teach yourself or is there some sort of tutorial?

Cheers

It takes a while to get to grips with the basic commands. Just upload a photo and spend a bit of time piddling around with various buttons. You'll pick it up.

I agree not the easiest to get with, pretty steep learning curve. Try Adobe Photoshop Elements, smaller, cutdown version.
Some fo stuff I'm messing about with:
(The shadow is ****e but this was added as last minute without really thinking about it)

Youtube tutorial vids are pretty good, but I prefer to use a book.

    Plenty of them about.

I just use the photo viewer in Vista to fix my images now lol.   It does red eye and a few other basic stuff.

I have used gimp in the past but I'm not very good artistically or creatively and usually end up making my pictures worse.
