Planning a bulk

OK after my hols in september I am planning a bulk. However I know I wont be able adjust to the amount of food I require just like that. So how long do you think it should take roughly to ramp up my cals by somewhere in the range of 800 - 1000cals a day, which will be roughly a 50% increase. I will be consuming the extra cals most probably in the form of homemade MRPs, so having the liquid should make it a little easier.
