I've just started the 'frankie 5x5' routine, I will be doing it for 12 weeks then I want to go into a powerlifting routine for 8 weeks (with a few bodybuilding movements there too).

I'm sure some of you must have routines stored on your computer?

If you have any routines please post.

I always go by an old workout routine, following many reps at the start working up to doubles and singles - this works good for me and was the way I was taught to gain strength....

I start my training year with 5 sets of ten this is a conditioning phase, next I will do 3 sets of 8 reps post conditioning and pre-strength, both workouts for 5 weeks totalling 10 weeks.

Then do a max for each Core lift and follow with:-
    5 x 5 reps at 80% 1st week, 85% 2nd week, 90% 3rd week etc etc til 5 x 5 at 100% of my original 1 x 5 rep max (hope that makes sense) 3 x 6 for my supplementary lifts on top.......
re-test maxes adjust and do same routine (5 x 5)......
re-test maxes after 5 weeks and go on to more complex work pyramids etc.... I have a copy of a Xcel Spreadsheet an ex-Strength coach gave me and the SS works all your weights out from your single rep max - it's very hard to explain but is you are interested I can send you a copy with an explanation on how to use it - just let me know!

This routine works very well for me but of course everyone responds differently to workouts.
