Post workout - Protein shake or Weight gain?

always had this in the back of my head. after workout, should i have weight gain or protein shake?

the protein shake is about 24g whey protein. the weight gain is about 25g protein, 48g carbs. i supplement creatine and BCAA's afterwards as well.

im going for matrix nutrition anabolic protein soon which is about 40+g protein so i think that would be more beneficial post workout. but at the moment i'm torn between the two.

    whey and dextrose :)

The weight gainer would normally have a blend of proteins which is not optimal postoworkout
