Powerlifting world records?

Why is it that information on powerlifitng world recordsis so hard to come by on the internet? Does anybody know of a definitve resource with listing of all the weight classes etcetera?

I think Brent Mikesell has the world record Squat and Andy Bolton has the record Deadlift. Yet even when I search for this in Google nothing comes up, and the only place I can find Mikesell's lift is on his website!

Gene Rychlak has the World Record shirted Bench Press, who has the raw Bench Press record?

Brent Mikesell has the squat at 1141lbs
Andy Bolton has the deadlift at 933lbs
Gene Rychlak has the shirted bench at 900lbs
Scot Mendelson has the raw bench at 713lbs

Finding them anywhere is almost impossible, I don't know where'd you'd start.

Thanks MikeyFive. Also, who's got the total record?

Is the shirted Bench Press used in legitimate competitions making up a total?

It is ridiculous how hard this stuff is to find. Im pretty sure the three lift total belongs to Gary Frank, and I know it's over 2600lbs.

Which federation oversaw those records.. if they are offical records then the federations website (if they have one) should list them.

For example the International Powerlifting Federation doesn't list any of those lifts.

    http://www.powerlifting-ipf.com/

    Records (as of 27-12-2003):

    Squat:
    Shane Hamman USA 457.5 Kg 10-03-1996 Philadelphia/USA

    Bench:
    James Henderson USA 322.5 Kg 13-07-1997 Philadelphia/USA

    Deadlift:
    Tibor Mészáros HUN 407.5 Kg 17-11-2002 Trencin/SVK

    Total:
    Bill Kazmaier USA 1100kg 31-01-1981 Columbus/USA

Not saying that these are the heaviest.. but it's the only official international records I could find.

Gary Frank, Andy Bolton and Brent Mikesell all compete in the WPO. Gene Rychlak did his 900lbs bench in a IPA meet. Scot Mendelson has retired but used to compete in the WPO. I think

The three-lift record is in fact 2667lbs by Gary Frank, set in the WPO.

Fraid not. At least not the official record in competition. Andy Bolton has attempted 954lbs in competition, but he missed it.
