Pre and Post Workout

Its nearly the end of the month and the bills are piling up as usual. I wont be able to afford any supplements for a few weeks.

Has anyone got any ideas on good pre-workout and post workout meals?....ideally something quick and easy to prepare with at least 30g of protein and plenty of carbs

    Gross bro!

When im broke I eat "fish steaks" you know them in the sardine like can. They are actually herring, and there are different flavors such as soybean oil, hot sauce, etc.... Around 30 grams of protien, add a bananna and its a meal.
Protien and carbs! It costs around 48 cents a can and the bananna is around 20 cents.
