What types of foods are ideal before a workout ?
-Many options, depends on the plan as a whole though and what you can stomach...goals play a part in it as well.
And how long after eating should I train ?
-Up to you what you can stomach. Depends how big the meal is as well and the time of day.
And would a pre-WO whey shake be a good idea, or should I just leave the shake to PWO ?
-Same as food but liquid form and may be easier to stomach. Also depends what's in the shake, just whey?
Time of day will change things too.
