Pro-Recover

Are the standard Pro-Recovery tubs been phased out now in favour of the shake n take one's?, they just seem to be dissapearing in favour of these, I remember when it happened to Marathons when they brought out Snickers!

I've just scanned around one or two, discount supps are only doing these shake n take things, I'm probably short of the mark mate but like you the price of those is a joke.

That product is a massive rip off either way mate. Can anyone tell me what it has to offer over hydrolysed whey and dextrose which can be bought from a bulk supplier for a fraction of the cost.

No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH  - drab4

Pro Recover is available at most GNC's at the like currently at buy one, get one half price.

Pagan - over priced defo but tasty, simple and quick - no thinking involved - you can literally shake and take unlike dextrose and whey that needs a blend to get rid of lumps...

I personally use the latter but I can see why people do.

I like that a lot.  Quite expensive mind you when you consider that its essentially £1 and a little per serving!

end of the day the best option is always going to be to buy some whey and dextrose and mix them together, job done and your not getting your pants pulled down

So its very heavily blended down rather than quite granular like whey and dextrose can be?

I am using my proteins recovery xs and it seems to be working to good effect.
using it after track and weights sessions.
not the best tasting but it goes down the hatch easy enough.

i use 40grams each of dextrose and unflavoured whey for post-workout, you only need to half fill the shaker with water and you'll get a very smooth mix, not thick or lumpy or chalkie at all.

Agree, I would consider Pro-recover in the same league as the PWO stuff people waste their money on like BSN No Explode. If I would buy anything from CNP it would have to be the CNP Professional protein bars from GNC when I'm out and need to get something to eat (other than junk food).

    A very sweeping statement.
